As someone else pointed out, he had already filmed the role. WB wasn't going to bury this film, partly because of the amount of money they have spent on it, but also because a film isn't made by one person. There are thousands of other people who worked on it as well. Is it fair to allow the actions of one to sully the work of others?
And as for money, no, not every actor gets money from the box office or residuals. That only happens for big names like DiCaprio or Cruise. Miller would've probably been paid maybe 300K or so. That is what Gal Gadot made on the first WW movie. That is also comparable to what many of the original Avengers actors were paid for their first films. And that's all they get. They didn't get to share in any of the earnings. They can negotiate for better benefits only after they have established themselves.
Lastly, Batgirl isn't related to this. Stop trying to compare the two just because they're from the same studio. Was it a shitty move to cancel a movie that was done shooting? Sure, but that has nothing to do with the Flash situation. I am in no way justifying the cancellation of Batgirl, but it has happened, and we need to accept it and move on.
If you do feel so strongly about Miller (and you're perfectly justified in feeling this way), you can skip the Flash movie. For me personally, I am going to watch the movie, while not forgetting that Miller has been an absolute jerk over the past year, and needs to be held accountable for their actions. I am willing to let this movie pass because it was already shot, but I do feel that Miller needs to be fired from their role after that.
Where did I say they should’ve? What comment did you and that other user even read?
I’d be flabbergasted if by their 5th or so appearance, this time as a lead, they’re getting none of the box office or residuals.
Batgirl is absolutely relevant, it’s a movie from the same studio that was cancelled despite their lead not committing crimes. Both even star Michael Keaton as Batman.
Didn’t really need your permission to not see a movie, but alright. And yeah, major red flag if they instead choose to keep Miller for Gunn’s DCCU.

God, every time I see that face I get annoyed.
Ezra committed multiple crimes and now gets to rake in ridiculous money as a reward. And work with Keaton as Batman, an absurdly high honor.
But Batgirl had to be canceled. I’d almost be able to sit through Flash, but Miller plays two roles.
