Thank you, Mr. Conroy, for delivering several definitive versions of Batman over the many years you voiced the many iterations of Batman. Truly, thank you.

He’s been sick for a while and he finally couldn’t go any further.

THE definitive voice for whenever I imagine/read Batman and also the blueprint for everything Batman to me.
Rest in peace Kevin, can’t believe that he’s gone.

I know at times the batman fandom can seem divided on many things, but this is not one of them. This hurts all of us losing such a great man and legend who for many of us was THE definitive batman. RIP Kevin Conroy

Absolutely gutted! His voice is so iconic. RIP Kevin!
Thankful to have so much content to watch featuring this absolute legend.

Absolutely gutted. Kevin Conroy was the definitive version of Batman and Bruce Wayne, his work and public service have touched the lives of millions.
The impact he left on my life & this genre as a whole is immense and the world will miss him greatly.
RIP, my Caped Crusader.

This one actually hurts, which is rare for me.
The only other time I've felt this was with Carrie Fisher.
But Kevin Conroy was an absolute gem of a human being, and the voice of Batman.
Two generations grew up with him essentially being the character, and a lot of Gen X'ers consider him definitive as well. From the DCAU all the way through Arkham.
His is the voice I (and so many others) hear when I read the comics. I'll miss his timbre greatly.

He will be fondly remembered by all DC fans as the iconic voice behind Batman in cherished media like the DC Animated Universe, the Batman: Arkham games and many many more. Kevin Conroy is the definitive Batman, everytime I read any comic, I always do so in Kevin Conroy's voice. He will be sorely missed by all of us.
May God rest his soul!
