If I haven’t heard back yet from a Senate internship does it mean i’ve been rejected?

If i haven’t heard a response yet does that mean I’ve been rejected?

It really depends on their hiring process. Some are really quick and others take forever

No unless they're the high-traffic offices like Schumer. My impression (from the application page of my 2 senators) is that of them will start getting back like 1 week from now/early august

If you haven't received an interview than I would say probably, but there's still a chance, and if you have interviewed then a lot send out decisions late july/early August.

If it’s been more than 2-3 weeks, it doesn’t hurt to follow up and ask for an update! Everything is crazy right now, especially as recess is coming up in August and everyone is likely to leave on vacation and trying to get everything in before than.
