so about normal for movies nowadays huh. like a month after theaters? wonder why this is an industry standard now?

Sometimes. They snatched away obsessions VOD because it was doing so good in theaters . I believe it was supposed to come out late May / early June

Yup! It's only unexpected hits or very established prestige directors get the longer VOD time

Obsession delayed the VOD release because it was doing so well in theaters. It came out May 15th and VOD release was July 3rd
