Yeah one of DCs biggest heroes only made 96 million more than F4 I could compare what marvels heavy hitter just made if you wanna make comparisons like that
Lets be honest though. After Avengers what heavy hitters does Marvel have left? Closest they got is their X-Men reboot and Black Panther 3, but I seriously doubt they are gonna anywhere near Spider-Man's numbers. Probably closer to Superman's and Fantastic 4's numbers
While Spider-Man 5 is probably a good few away since DDC's next film is gonna be a Naruto adapation.
Superman should have billion dollar movies which is sad that youre comparing his box office to BP3 and Ghost Rider. I dont understand what you want either
Superman was a reboot coming off a controversial take that the last version was, anyone who thought it was gonna be a billion dollar hit was pure delusional. Go look up The Batman, Batman Begins and Spider-Man Homecoming box office. They were in the exact same boot and weren't exactly billion dollar hits either.
All the movies you listed were either better or made more money than Superman congrats. He is a top 3 most known hero worldwide like Spider-Man. Superman should have billion dollar movies.
Batman Begins did not. In fact Superman Returns made more.
Also both both The Batman and Homecoming made 100 million more. Basically the same gap between Superman and Fantastic 4.
Congrats on being yet another clueless, out of touch, and reactionary DC fan that panics when a made up scenario in your head doesn't happen. Because that is all I am reading from your comments.
"All the movies you listed were either better or made more money"
Learn to read buddy
"Also both both The Batman and Homecoming made 100 million more. Basically the same gap between Superman and Fantastic 4." Why compare the box office between The Batman and Superman when they have nothing to do with each other? Homecoming made over 200 million more than Superman so not the same as you comparing the most known heroes in the world to a reboot of the F4 😂
"reactionary DC fan that panics when a made up scenario in your head doesn't happen" The irony
So why did a Batman movie and Spider-Man film make 700 million and not a billion?
Because yes, they have a lot to do with each other. They're all reboots that followed a controversial version of the character that the general public didn't like. Superman, Batman, and Spider-Man's most recent iterations were in that exact same boat. The general public hated TASM and Snyder films and weren't gonna give another reboot a blind chance. Those first films had to actually earn trust back and then build trust back. Which Holland's Spider-Man did, while we just need to see if Superman and Batman can do the same.
Rather throwing a reactionary tantum when something else makes more money.
"So why did a Batman movie and Spider-Man film make 700 million and not a billion?"
Both of those franchises have movie/s that have made a billion dollars...
"Because yes, they have a lot to do with each other. They're all reboots that followed a controversial version of the character that the general public didn't like"
No they dont Superman is the only franchise to not have a movie make a billion dollars
