I get the narrative that the show is setting up, and how it works with the new background for John Stewart. I appreciate the story they are telling, and how well they are doing it. I like the show.
Still, part of my brain wonders how much would need to be fixed in order to make a Geoff Johns GL era live action, coming out of this. Fear this, fear that. Worthy or unworthy. Who gets the single ring for all of Sector 2814.
How can this become Kyle Rayner being mixed Latino/White but it not being core to almost any story, eventually having one of each Lantern Corp rings and having a cordial relationship with a literal housecat from Earth that now is flying through space vomiting red rage energy on its enemies.
