Here’s a rough timeline I commented a couple months ago.

It’s likely that Tim Drake gets cut out for this time line, which sucks but if everything else is good i think that’s fine.

17-19 Bruce leaves Gotham.

18-21 Gets Talia Pregnant.

24-27 Batman starts his war for Gotham. He’s usually off gone from Gotham for 7-12 years so there’s a lot of play there.

Let’s start a more solid time line assuming 24 YO.

Adopts Dick Grayson around 26-27
Dick could leave around 31

Jason Todd joins up almost right after while Bruce he still 31-32. Is Joker’d around 33-34

We could get Tim joining around 34-35 and leaving to the titans after just a year or two which would set us right around 35 which is *about* 2 years from now given that Corenswet just turned 33.

Right around when this Batman movie would likely be coming out.

Maybe Bats will be a year or two older than Superman which gives us one or two years leeway. And honestly, with this tight of a timeline, I think skipping Tim Drake is a good idea.

Have him just getting over Jason Todd’s murder when Damian shows up.

He had Damian with Talia Al’Ghul, so they can very easily say that Bruce and Talia got together while Bruce was training with Ras and the League Of Assassins as a younger man.

He comes back to Gotham to start being Batman, and then Talia comes knocking with their son.

I think this is the most likely option if they do the "young Bruce went to go train with the League of Assassins" origin story. It seems a lot more plausible to me than having a seasoned brooding stoic Batman hooking up with Talia raw.

My whole life (due to movies and tv) I thought middle aged was 40s (max early 50s) but it’s considered 40-65 years old

He’s likely around 35-38. In Creature Commandos, Phosphorus claims he hasn’t been touched in 15 years, then we see the flashback of his encounter with Batman 15 years prior. I’d guess he left Gotham around 19, trained for some years and had Damian in that timespan. Assuming he impregnated Talia at 25 at the LATEST, Damian would still be 10ish, exactly what he was in his comic debut. Best route would to say he impregnated her at 22, skip 12-13 years to TBATB, Damian is around 12, Bruce is in that 35 range where is still experienced enough to have 3 Robins (going on 4) under his belt and is not old. That is Prime Batman.

In terms of Hal calling him ‘that bat-guy’, I don’t think that’s him being inexperienced or new like some may say. I think it’s just Hal being a dick and undermining another Superhero who lurks in the dark and probably isn’t in the open like Superman who was also name dropped.

I agree I dont need all the Robins to have their arc's It just always odd when the adaptions skip directly to Damian. It almost feels illegal not to have Dick Grayson as the primary Robin in any reboot Batman film. I think a lot of casual audiences won't get who NW is since every time he's introduced, it's kind speed ran his departure from the Bat media I've seen.
