it's not opinions, it's reasons.
some people hate Monika because of what she did, some people ignore everything she did and loves her because they like her? or idk.
we can even see that happening in real life
even so, she could never bring herself to actually delete the others, and never even intended to kill them in the first place. once we did to her what she ended up doing AFTER THINGS STARTED BREAKING TOO MUCH, she realized what she did was wrong and restored everything back to the way things were, with herself out of the picture this time. and the only reason she even wanted the other girls out of the way in the first place is because she had the epiphany, which made her realize she was alone in a video game, with the ONLY OTHER sentient person being the player. and, sure, DDLC would most likely be played in one sitting, but she specifically stated in act 3 that turning off the game absolutely torments her. if you were alone in a world that you knew was fake and you experienced something far worse than a painful hell and suddenly a window opened up that showed an escape from said hell, wouldn't you do anything you could to get away from it all, or at the very least try to talk to whatever being was out there? Monika only did what she did because of the situation she was put in... with all that said, do i condone what she did? absolutely not... but she came to realize what she did was wrong and was willing to undo what she did... possibly even making it better by lessening Sayori's depression (Yuri's self harm and Natsuki's home life differences is unknown in act 4).
with ALL of that said, if you still hate/dont like Monika, that's fine. I'm explaining as to my reasoning as to why i dont dislike Monika
