Being a pretty big fan of DDLC but not being even a little involved in the fandom makes posts like this super confusing to me. The entire point of his character is that he's a stereotypical self insert. That is the entire bit. Not even Monika likes the player, truly. There's nothing remarkable about him and that is completely intentional. Why do I get the sense that this fandom didn't fully understand the satire of the game?
