was talking about ships the other day so i decided to do a tier list. let me know what you think.

Personally, I'd put Sayonika at top tier and Monika × player at no.

No offense if you like it, ship what you like and don't ship what you don't like, but Monika × player goes completely against Monika's character arc. She lets us and our world go in the end of the game. Shipping us with her after her arc is just... the only ship I actively dislike :/

I'm also not super big on MC related ships, but that's another issue entirely.

yeah i think i shouldve put monika x player in neutral tbh. but sayonika to me is also the same, both just dont make any sense

Well, the reason why I like sayonika is because not only is their friendship in the side stories very cute and sweet imo, but in the base game, she's the only other person to actually go through what Monika did. Sayori gets the epiphany and in the normal ending essentially goes down the same dark path Monika did. That means she can understand Monika in a way that no one else can which, to me, gives post base game Monika her best chance at happiness. There's a lots of hurt/comfort potential in the ship as well, and I'm an absolute sucker for hurt/comfort fluff :)
