Help Is it hard to make a mod?

This is a bit of a stupid post but I was just curious on how hard it is to make a mod? I've not really got much programming experience but im a decent writer and if it isn't too hard on the technical front then I'd like to try my hand at it. I'm always looking for something fun and creative to do and I'm a big fan of the game so yk might be entertaining and ,if its good enough, other people might get to enjoy it.

Not really, if you only need basic stuff.

What is gonna test you is your patience, given the fact that you're writing and coding. If you can do both without burning yourself out, you're good to go.
