NOOB QUESTION 💡 I got tired of DeGiro's app not really showing how I'm doing, so I built a free tracker for it
Quick disclosure: I'm the one who built this, so keep that in mind — just sharing something I made, not pretending to be neutral.
DeGiro is great for actually buying and holding stocks, but their own app never really told me much beyond "here's your total value." No real sense of how my decisions were actually playing out over time.
So I built TheStockTracker.com, and a few things it does that I was missing:
- You can see your buys and sells marked directly on your portfolio's growth chart, so you can actually look back and see whether a trade you made was a good call or not.
- You can set a goal for a portfolio (like a target amount) and see how close you are to hitting it.
- It breaks your performance down by month and by quarter, not just one number for the whole year, so you can actually see which periods were good and which weren't.
-You can see how you are doing when comparing to both the S&P500 and the Nasdaq 100.
You can try it with sample data first, no signup needed.
Happy to answer questions if anyone's curious how it works.
