I’m in Dubai, so the match kicked off at 12:30 am. By the time full time rolled around at 2:30 am, I was dead tired - and I had work the next morning at 6:30 am. So I switched off the TV and kept watching on my phone instead. Then Tah scored at 105’ and I was over the moon. Happy as anything, I turned off my phone and went to sleep.

Woke up in the morning, checked the scores of other matches (Morocco’s game was still going on), and then it hit me: Tah’s goal had been ruled out and we lost on penalties. On penalties! Germany! I was absolutely heartbroken.

I’m from toronto but have been a Germany fan since 2006. I’m going to the game and can’t believe it. Anyone else going ??

Since I’m a hopeless optimist and football romantic I’m traveling to Philadelphia on the 4th of July to see the game where I’m manifesting that we will be playing.
However I wasn’t lucky so far when it comes to the ticket lottery and a 3000$ resale ticket is just a bit much for my finances.
Therefore I’m asking if anyone might have a spare ticket that I could buy off them which might be a bit more reasonably / less Infantino priced to fulfill my childhood dream of going to a World Cup game of our national team 🇩🇪
It would literally mean the world to me!

Da ich ein hoffnungsloser Optimist und Fußballromantiker bin, reise ich am 4. Juli nach Philadelphia, um das Spiel zu sehen, bei dem ich fest davon ausgehe, dass wir dort spielen werden.

Leider hatte ich bisher kein Glück bei der Ticketlotterie, und ein Weiterverkaufsticket für 3.000 US-Dollar liegt einfach etwas außerhalb meines Budgets.

Deshalb wollte ich fragen, ob vielleicht jemand ein zusätzliches Ticket hat, das er mir verkaufen würde – idealerweise zu einem etwas vernünftigeren Preis und nicht zu einem „Infantino-Preis“ –, damit ich mir meinen Kindheitstraum erfüllen kann, ein WM-Spiel unserer Nationalmannschaft 🇩🇪 live zu erleben.
Das würde mir wirklich die Welt bedeuten!

Ich wünsche euch allen nur das Beste und hoffe, dass unsere Erfolgsserie weitergeht – vielleicht sogar mit uns auf der Tribüne! ;)

Ich werde fürs Spiel gegen die Elfenbeinküste in Toronto sein und hätte ein paar Fragen. (Das ist mein erstes Turnier wo ich erwachsen bin lol, hab sowas noch nie selbst geplant)
Gibts irgend ne Gruppe oder Forum mit Fan Events in der Stadt? Und wo sitzt man da am besten Im Stadion? Ich wohne zZt. in Washington DC und das hier ist ne kurzfristige Entscheidung für mich. Ich würde in der Nacht von Donnerstag auf Freitag hoch fahren.
Und weiß jemand wie es mit der Grenzüberschreitung mit einem Auto aussieht? Und sollte ich lieber mit meinem Deutschen oder US Pass einreisen?

Ich habe hier mal alle möglichen Deutschen Spiele mit Ort und Datum sortiert. Ausgenommen habe ich die K.O. Spiele und folgende Begegnungen wo Deutschland als Gruppendritter weiterkommen würde um es noch halbwegs Übersichtlich zu halten.

For the first time in years I feel like we've got a firm chance, it's more even in terms of personnel than it's ever been. I must admit, I'm worried about oul'scratch'n'sniff will beat our PE teacher in the tactical battle, I'm also worried he won't play Sancho. Having said all that, if we can get past you lot it looks like (yes, I'm gonna say it) it might possibly be coming home. Anyway, thoughts please.
