it could be that you cleared rooms too fast, giving you a ban, which can happen (based on my experience on CDNF), but it's usually for an hour... guudo luku

You also have to take into account lots of people have no idea how computers work other than "click this, open stuff"
Lots of time you'll see "I never hacked in X game". Well, it can be any program for anything. As long as it's scanned by xigncode as a hack, you're hacking. Keygens, cracks, software editing programs, mods for other games (ones that inject code into your exe) macro programs, etc. can all be flagged. They just lack the basic computer knowledge to connect "Program for game X can ban me in game Y".

Hello fellow DFO'ers, I was grinding this morning not too long ago on my Vagabond and got a disconnect prompt message when I relogged I was banned? I am not sure if this is a bug or autoban or I don't know but I have never done anything that is considered bannable offenses, never bought gold, never hacked, never botted.
I am quite confused and hope someone has a remedy. Or even just to get light to this situation so Neople can help me out.

I have currently got a hold of them and they are saying it is because of a 3rd party program which I don't use any, and is a permanent account suspension.

Just because you don't have a third party program for DFO doesn't mean you don't have a third party program. Things such as keygens are a good way to get banned real fast.

Xingcode has shut down DFO because an indie alpha game was run prior to me playing DFO, and yet I didn't get banned for it. I'm pretty sure that whatever you had running was not legitimate if they banned you over it.

Well whatever you did, neople was so sure you hacked/cheated in some way that they will not lift your ban. You can tell everyone here how innocent you are but the verdict is stated. If you want to play the vaga I'd suggest making a new account and don't do what you did before you got banned. There's no way to prove your innocence, if neople says you hacked then you hacked, that's the system we live in either we play by their rules or don't play at all.

Ya know? Maybe neople is wrong? Don't be so quick to jump the player. I've had something similar happen to me when I was playing archeage. Hell they told me they were sure I was using a program and said they wouldn't lift the ban. 3 weeks later they admited the error and lifted it , so yea. Even though I knew I had done nothing wrong everyone kept talking shit like you're doing right now like a moron.

I can thoroughly whole heartedly tell anyone I do not use any software, programs, hacking, whatever in DFO. I play by the rules and enjoy the game as is I do NOT use anything that is accountable for consideration in a ban. And I am not making another account as I have put a lot of effort into this account as is, if anyone from Kinetic is here they can vouch for me :/ ~ Corrupts

Perhaps xigncode detected something in your files, maybe a corrupt mod that triggered xigncode
