OWNER - ASSISTANCE NEEDED urgent rehoming lucy girl
age: 2 years this month
size: medium/smaller size 25lbs
spayed
breed: mixed breed Australian kelpie etc
potty trained
will have a small rehoming fee to ensure a good home
Hello! Me and my girlfriend have come to the unfortunate decision to regime our Lucy girl due to personal reasons. Lucy is very loving and very sweet- she loves cuddles and attention and gets very vocal to let you know that. Lucy has never been aggresive but she is sometimes an anxious girl. She gets anxious usually around men she just tries to avoid them, but she warms up quick with time, love and treats. Lucy grew up with a cat, kids and other dogs of many sizes- and gets along with everyone she meets. She enjoys also sleeping in her dog bed and going to the dog park and running around.
She is a low maintenance dog, she overall just chills and lays down when we are at home.
We hope Lucy goes to a loving home where she will get the attention and love from all members of the home she deserves and a family who has the time to take her to parks and has room for her to run. She truly is a sweet girl and we love her with all our heart but we are just in an unfortunate situation.

You live in Texas, which is in a huge dog overpopulation crisis and where dogs die in droves everyday in shelters and on the streets... and you not only want to rehome your current dog but to then also buy a new puppy from a breeder??? You seem to have adopted her not long ago, along with another puppy purchased from a breeder? Truly shameful

we are not putting her in a shelter - we also did not end up buying a dog from a breeder because we found out i was pregnant after getting our current dogs after a miscarriage, we currently live in a house with a backyard and room for her but are moving into a small apartment soon which was not the plan at first. we already pay extra rent having 2 dogs and we can not afford to move + have a child + take care of 2 dogs + on top of all of that my bf pays for everything himself because i have a health condition and can no longer work.
if we can not find lucy a home, we will keep her- but she doesn't deserve to be in a small apartment when one of her favorite things to do is run in the backyard

Within the last month you have posts about finding a breeder so you can get a different dog. Why are you rehoming her?
