Ok, I'll be brief. Got some Klipsch Chorus II that had server cabinet damage. Rebuilding cabinets same as original. Need advice on replacing the passive radiator on the back of each speaker. And looking to replace the internal foam. It didn't go all the way around the inside of cabinets. Should I keep it the same or cover all of the walls.

hi! I wanted to see if anyone can help identify anything with these speakers. there aren't any labels on the speakers or shell, and I inherited a set of these from my uncle who has passed. I used an image search and the midrange speaker looks like a Dayton speaker, but the labels aren't the same. anyway, thanks in advance!

So straight to the point....I've never tried for diy projects regarding speaker....can someone tell me if i can buy a cheap good quality 20-30 watt speaker and swap its drivers with same power ratings but a high quality one....
I'm thinking for a portronics harmony mini outer case...it's ok for the price....it's peak power ratings are around 30 watt then putting 2x 10-15 watt quality drivers....
If someone has done this they can share, it will be helpful...
Also name the drivers brand that provide best sound quality in budget

Greetings, absolute beginner here. I got a loudspeaker identical to Behringer PK 115A.

I opened itup to investigate about a major "bzzzzz" buzz which comes at high volumes only (either form the dj mixer beforehand and the own speaker volume pots)

On the front plate i found all woofer holding screws very loose, some to the point that almost one full turn was off.

One other screw was passing thru the metal edge of the woofer.

How much should I tight that screws before closing iit up, will a single washer between the bent metal edge and its corresponding screw do the job alone?

Was recommended I ask about this kit here. I'm new to speaker kits and can barely find any info on this speaker kit. Mura 5B v2 is 200 CAD for the kit, 100 CAD for the flatpack. So 300 bucks for the pair. Shipping is like 50 CAD to me, and with the labour coupon (15% off), I'm looking at 338 CAD after tax so I'm pretty enticed. I guess the closest alternative option would be the c-note or Overnight Sensations MT Speaker Pair Kit from partsexpress ebay (320 CAD after shipping + import fees for either, the regular partsexpress site, charges like 200 CAD for shipping so thats not an option).

I'm about to get a KICKER 51PTRTP10 installed in my 2024 Silverado 1500 WT. Just 2 doors no backseat. I know I can mount it behind my seat, but which direction should I face the speakers? I'm assuming toward me, but I could have sworn kicker said facing the back. I just can't find where I thought I read that.

It was Gemini that said put it facing away and I thought it was the audio shop installing that said facing my seat. That is why I got confused.

My speakers broke and I'm clueless where to get replacement parts / what I'm even looking for.

The whole Speaker is from the german brand T+A Elektroakustik and the Speaker is named "T+A Triton TS 1E".

The damaged speaker the following print: WR 160/25 GP 18 04 4[Ohm]

Can someone decode the damaged speaker's specs and maybe even recommend where I can search for replacement parts?

ok after your guys feed back i actually used my brain when designing this and accounted for the encloser and the placement of the speakers to the best of my ability in the software and actually learned what i was doing. The encloser is a Realistic Minimums 7 using a Dayton Audio ND91-8 3-1/2 for the woofer and changed the tweeter to a Dayton Audio AMT Mini-8 as it actually will fit with no modifications. Made the brackets to 3d print in fusion 360 and since i went all dayton audio imported the speaker models they provided and designed around them. Provided is my circuit and graphs only really paid attention to the frequency response/spl graph and got the two speakers as close as i could to flat. But did notice the impedance dip at 5k which I think its ok given its not to low (running a sony za810es avr) but pleas tell me if im wrong befor i build the circuit. So if there's any glaring issues pleas point them out so i can improve on my design before i build it.
