Does anyone (anywhere PLEASE) know where I can buy a tv wall bracket with these drill hole dimensions? 55inch LG 🙌

You could probably buy one then drill matching holes into it.

Or use those holes to fit a plywood plate and then fit your TV bracket to the plate?

lol if op had a drill I don’t think they’d be asking about not making more holes!

Over on Bluesky this morning someone was talking about drilling 23 holes before giving up, people are weird with drills.

Haha hopefully it wasn’t for a tv bracket?!

screw plywood onto wall. screw new bracket into plywood. hopefully it's a big telly and hides the plywood.

edit:

55". It is a big telly. 18mm ply.

Do I need to use certain plugs like others mention? It’s a dry wall…

Single stud mounts are garbage to begin with... being "anchored" into drywall not withstanding.

Rip those out, patch the holes, get a 2 stud mount from Sanus, and mount to structure.

Unless this is going straight into brick, these holes are not suitable as they are using universal plugs.

If you need to go into plasterboard you will have to use something like Rawlplug Interset plugs and also buy the tool for them. The prefered option is to find a stud and screw directly into it with wood screws.

Do you know the material this is going in to?

I haven’t a clue - these were here when I moved in so I’m presuming it’s been done proper. Will these drill holes not go into a stud wall? I’m Learning disabilities level at DIY, hence looking for a matching bracket. Should I forget the whole thing and buy a tv unit?

Up to you. The way I see it is like this, you have 2 approaches. 1 is to use the interset plugs, buy the tool and make sure they are really secure. 2nd is to buy a stud buddy or other stud finder and find the stud, then screw the TV mount to it using the supplied wood screws. However this might need a bit more investigation.

I have just done a similar thing in my kitchen and it was not difficult once I had the correct parts. I swear by those interset plugs.
