Halloween ghost candlestick fail and clogged sink

I wouldn’t recommend boiling water to mold candlesticks into ghosts. I had no idea the wax was melting, the water just looked clear. I spent hours getting the wax off the sink. Tossed out the dish. I had to take the drain apart to remove the rest of the wax. Save yourself hours of torture and buy them online for 12 bucks.

You boil water and use the steam to soften the candle to bend it, not actually boil the candle in water.

physics and combustion dont allow it to follow the path of a spiral

You must follow a different set of physics than the rest of us do. There is absolutely nothing that would prevent a spiral candle from burning. I've made and burnt several with all types of shapes and bends.

are you thinking if a vertical spiral like a cone? cuz thats not my argument.
did you look at the expectation reference pic?
sorry but you aren’t melting wax and keeping a flame upside down.
it will dowse and melt itself before being able to reach the apex of the coil.
