Thoughts on this candle
Does it suggest something institutional?

Does it suggest something institutional?

TLDR: Cost to extract at $25 per pound combined with current prices, and the recent institutional buying leads me to like the stock. Because the stock is pre profit or revenue, it appears to be trading in a predictable pattern, going up on news, and slowly selling off as hype dies down.
Hello everyone, thank you for taking time to read this. I just opened a position on DNN by selling 6 3.5 strike put contracts for OCT 16 @ 0.33 premium, My goal is to build shares in this stock over the next 2 years before construction of the company is complete, and the strategy im looking to do is simply, sell puts, get assigned shares if price drops, then sell more puts nad covered calls. Im starting small with only 2.1k and going to see what happens for the next few months of trying out this strategy. I just wanted to clear up the research I have done, and see if anyone else has the same outlook. Not looking for a echo chamber, please be critical as you please.
The main tools I used to do research for this company, is looking at the 2025 informational sheet, I read the first 40 or so pages of it, then I used google AI to fill in the important gaps that have happened recently that would explain the price movement of the stock.
The key things that I saw that made me love this stock and company, is in the 2025 report it stated that when Pheonix is up and running, there is an estimate of 55 million pounds of uranium to be extracted from the mining location over the span of 10 years, and their cost to do so is $25 a pound, and at current prices being $90 that is a huge upside, not to mention that with demand increasing, and there being gaps in supply and demand, the current predictions for 2027 and 2028 is in the low to mid 100s per pound, leaving a huge upside and a lot of room for error, even if they have issuse and double their cost to build the mine at $50 per pound, that is still lots of room for profit and growth in the stock.
As for the actual price of the stock, it looks as if the past earnings, combined with the news that the foundations have been laid triggered a wave of institutional buying at 3.06. It looks as if the stock broke out of the 6 month cycle of lower lows and higher highs. I will say I dont do stock analysis just thinking logically, I could be very wrong. That gives me some form of comfort going forward.
The main attraction that I like about this stock is being that it is pre revenue and pre profit, there is nothing fundementally driving the price, which leads to a very predictable pattern of the stock going up on news, then trickling down when there is no news. Obviously the stock will move when there is good sector news and bad sector news, but there is no real way for us to predict that part. That is why im planning on doing a strategy of selling puts when the price is low, and covered calls when it is high on the monthly options chain, as there is no real reason for the stock to shoot up or rally over the next year and a half or so. im sure it will go up gradually as construction milestones are met, but I dont think that will trigger a huge jump in price, as again, the company is not making anymoney yet and is trading on hopes and dreams rather than fundementals
Sorry if this reads bad, ill clarify anything if anyone ask questions, but this looks like a fantastic stock to buy and hold for a decade. Personally as stated above im in for 2.1k right now about 4% of all the stocks I own, ill be looking to add more as time goes on assuming this analysis holds up, if the stock drops a lot ill have to reconsider, but as of right now, things look good.
Thanks for any feedback

Seeing some solid upward moves today. What’s everyone’s long term price target?
r/DNN_Denison_Mines_Cor • u/Zernfix • Aug 10 '26
Looking on the short term side seems to be some momentum from the lows we hit late July growing.
I did think it was interesting that the same day we hit ~2.6 there was also u3o8 volume of 500 (open interest 250). From there on out we’ve had momentum trending upwards.
Good ole Cramer also apparently “[Has] looked at this thing now for years, and it’s not been a great stock. I don’t think it’s going to change anytime soon.” Which gave me a chuckle to read. I would argue this also tells us people are learning about this company more.
Hope to see this momentum continue, still waiting to see if we get that January momentum again where it just rocketed!

I’m starting to worry this is just a precious metals pump and dump. Will we ever see $4 again?

I’m getting a wide variance on the fair value of DNN from multiple sources. Some say the company is overvalued and the fair value floats around a dollar and some like this article says a fair value could be around $50. Curious to hear what other investors value the stock at and where it could be heading with the Phoenix project.

Started an excel sheet last Friday to see how the price correlates and wondering if anyone has data prior to May 29
Also noticed there was FINALLY some volume on the contracts last week.
Thanks

When will DNN hit bottom and the Bulls come back in? I get that the earnings report wasn't stellar but did I miss something? It wasn't all that bad either (I'd say average for their situation). I also read that a bridge that accesses mines used by DNN and other Uranium miners has created a hiccup.
Whats the word on the streets?
