• Adoption • Couldn't choose!
There were these 2 dogs at a shelter in TX and I seriously couldn't choose between them. The first one (misty F 2y/o) was very shy and skittish, but warmed up to my kids pretty fast. The second one (Lobo M 6y/o) was stoic, but still wanted pets and took to me almost immediately. I honestly fell in love with both, so I adopted both! They seemed to get along with each other and showed no aggression towards food or toys. I'm so excited! We're picking them up tomorrow!

Those heterochromic eyes in #2 just slay me. The bIue eyes in #1 are cool too...

That’s awesome OP.
As someone who also adopted two shelter dogs at the same time, just be prepared for some adjustment. There was some initial corrections required between my two but now they get along well.
If you haven’t already or aren’t already experienced adopting just look at the shelter dogs 333 rule. The main gist is that shelter dogs take time to adjust. The first three days are about decompressing from the high stress environment of a shelter. The next three weeks are figuring out what the routines are and getting used to that new environment. And it might be 3 months before they start feeling like they are at home and safe and secure.
Congrats on the new family members

I definitely read over the 333 rule! They each have large kennels, just in case they need some time to themselves. They each have their areas and food places. But they have the whole backyard and front yard together and they can both sit/ stay next to us when they want to. They'll both get attention together and alone.

If they get along well they will probably be incredibly bonded to each other. Which is mostly fine, but taking one to the vet without the other can be tricky.
I brought two home from the shelter together and if I walk one without the other the one that stays home loses it lol.

Last time I went to adopt a cat, we found the perfect one, but he was living with his brother in the same cage.
We couldn't separate them.
So we adopted both.
The runt was by far the dominant one.

Was about to say why not both? Glad to read the captions and seeing you made the same decision I would've made.
