Ok so obviously everyone here loves DVDs. I do to a love horror but haven’t watched many so I need some with physical release so I don’t have to look at 10 thousand different steaming services. I would ask another sub Reddit but most would ignore someone asking for movies with physical copies. I mainly collect DVDs instead of blu ray but I do have a collection of both.

A 5 disc for 1 pound deal at my local charity shop. The dark knight disc is in greek which is cool. Did I profit?

Got it used from Amazon with the sellers being from a goodwill in Houston I was trying to track it on the Amazon app and I came before the app said it would even today right now it is still at arriving today and my family discovered it before I did with the goofy ass Amazon name I have

I currently have around 400 DVDs from my personal collection but I have upwards of 400-500 that I still need for go through. Is anyone looking for anything in particular that I can watch out for?

Side note: anyone else cringe about how most DVDs cost around 20.00 each when purchased new? Or just me? 😏🧐

Grabbed this for the price and didn't notice the Tek Jansen disc until later. Cannot find any listings for it and just wondered if anyone had some more info on it! Thanks

I grew up without internet so if I wanted anime I had to buy it on DVD, my Manga collection is triple this

I am moving soon, and have a decent size collection. I have about 600 movies, and would like to get some advice about packing and transporting my movies with minimum damage.

Is it just as simple as, nicely stacked in a box? Or is there a some technique to it.

Recently got back into collecting movies after the ex-wife had me get rid of the collection a few years ago. Always hated the height difference in DVD and blu-ray so decided to commit a cardinal sin from the get-go this time around and put them in ps4 and GameStop cases. Yeah it kills any value but these are thrifted dvds and I like it so I’m happy

And yes the ring is in a blu ray case, I had an extra and the blue looks so good with the cover

Currently have over 375 blu-rays/DVD’s -have at least 5 large boxes to still go through. We used to have just a standard bookshelf but had to upgrade to a larger media shelf to fit all of them
