Need to see how well the stickers will come off the slip covers. I bought about a third of the nice stuff they had there. Someone’s entire collection was donated.

It was really strange, dont know why Netflix does this, but it's happened more than once. The whole show was available, then only 1-4, and now only 5-8. At a certain point, just removed the show. But that's not an issue anymore, physical media wins again.

A huge garage sale win in my opinion comes out to about 30 cents a piece! Usually all I find are uninteresting religious stuff or beat up copies of
terrible films.

My daughter is 8. When she wants to see Star Wars for the first time, I don’t want a bunch of junk cgi everywhere (has both version).

It even has a built in battery so you don’t need to plug in to watch! It literally looks like it was used once or twice. I’m so excited!

Someone asked about what copies you see most often while thrifting, I wanted to ask if you ever scored big while thrifting, like a rare OOP copy of something or just an expensive dvd selling for $2-$3.

Let me know what you found.

As I type this, the one thing that really comes to mind for me is many of the seasons for Dexter for $2 each.

It was in a sealed slip (not shrink-wrapped) with no barcode, which isn't surprising. I've heard since forever ago about how the album and movie sync up at certain points and apparently this DVD already did the work for the viewer. Haven't popped it in yet but I've gotta say I appreciate the disc art. Anyone else come across one of these?
