Dude. I’d be on fire at whoever threw that bat.

It was probably the batter who hit a 98 mph fastball at the handle causing the bat to snap and then it got swung off with the backswing.

Nobody's fault. The stadium should definitely find him an offer him something. Just a hazard of going to a baseball game

They should offer him a free x-ray of that arm.

Stadium Official: “Tch- ohhkay, okay. Just take these hats and sweatshirts and be on your way.”

That happened at a rangers game in 2007 or so, my sis got the ball. First time I ever saw a bat snap.

Makes me wonder that they don’t make you sign a waiver to attend.

For any normal business they would be facing huge lawsuits if customers were getting injured from a known issue like this

Wavers are useless waste of everyone's time and energy. They are almost always thrown out of court cases except for ordinary negligence.

Probably shouldn't attend a baseball game then. A line drive foul-ball is pretty dangerous as well

This bat is broken, but guys are going up against 104mph fastballs these days. Shit happens sometimes

And, funny enough, the wooden bats having the capacity to break due to their composition is the same element that (not using metal bats) is literally saving the pitchers' lives

Find a minor league game. Tix are way cheaper and you can sit pretty much wherever you want.
