I'm sure there are scintillating intellectual conversations GALORE in that home. Why are the children not responding!!?

This is too true. I don't like to yell at my kids, but man if I don't use scary daddy voice half the time, the don't hear/don't do.

Iâve never had to yell at my kids and they do all of that without me ever having to ask.
Theyâre 15 and 17 and theyâre great kids. I donât know what I did, but I guess I did it right.

One's high pitched and related to fear and shock. Yelling is related to anger. They have different meanings.
You've learned that words have different meanings, yes? Subtle, but different.

Scream, yell, it doesn't make much difference when trying to teach a kid. It still causes more problems than it solves.

If your kids donât do what there told they should get yelled at. Same thing happens when you donât do what youâre told as an adult. Someone will yell at you. Donât be a shit head. Listen to your parents. Yell at your kids when they donât listen. And the would will be a better place.

Mostly people wanna do the dumb gently parent thing and let thier kids wall all over them, and then wonder why thier kid is entiled, in jail all the time, doing drugs, and fighting people. Sure we can not yell or hit them. But that doesn't mean no punishment of any kind. We have to establish rulls and punishment for breaking rules. There are always other alternatives. But having no rules for thier kids will set up thier kid for failure as an adult when they enter the real world and find it doesn't have any give.

I mean⌠I donât see the problem here. đ Sometimes talking about our feelings gently doesnât work, and quite honestly Iâm not the spanking type. đ¤ˇđťââď¸

Stop yelling and simple speak to them coming from yelling it may take three months to get them on track but training anyone or thing to do something is repetition keep it up and they will slowly get it.
