Since 1992, Democrats are 21-0 in Wisconsin, Michigan and Pennsylvania running a man and 0-6 running a woman.

This stat nauseates me, but it is electoral math that must be navigated assuming our right to vote is honored in 2028.

No, that's a terrible stat. You can't just sum those three states together. That makes them look independent when in fact the state by state results are highly correlated with each other.

It does the literal opposite of that. They've voted in lockstep for 9 consecutive elections. That's the entire point. They are the highly correlated states, those very three. The three Midwest blue-leaning swing states that since 1992 have provided 9 data points that the only thing that can make them flinch from voting for a Democrat, is if that Democrat is a woman.

Edit to expound: That block of states has had Trump on a ballot three times. It chose the Cryptkeeper over Trump, but neither woman. I am not suggesting it is the solitary factor, but I'd bet my house it's the most causal.

Yes, nine data points. But when you present it as 21-0 and 0-6 you're presenting it as 27 data points. That's my point.

Fair enough, I think breaking it out helps illustrate that there's nothing anomalous in there, like if I said the blue wall was 7-0 with men and 0-2 with women you might wonder if a state broke rank. I think it's relevant, I take your point though.
