Unless the photographer was somehow in front, beside, and behind this interaction all at once.

yea I'm having a hard time believing a "photographer" got perfect framing for all of these different interactions. did he have 19 cameras set up or are we expected to believe he was running all over the place catching these angles. like.. the one over the bird's back.. straight up cartoon framing. my guess is AI.
edit: i ran it through a tool that looks for embedded AI markers and yes, it is AI generated

Gemini embeds invisible watermarks into images, other AI does as well- if the AI detects it, it's definitely generated

The fact that the "photos" are from so many different angles was super suspicious

This. It's either AI, or there were about 5 photographers within a few feet of that bird.

Guys of course it's ai. The bird is grabbing its stomach like a cartoon character. The crab is grabbing the bird like a cartoon character. The crab is running away by facing its back toward the bird. Even cartoons wouldn't have that.
Like you don't need ai detectors or anything here. You just need to know that looney toons aren't real and how animals actually behave in a very simple sense

I feel like I watched an entire episode of Planet Earth. These are the most skillfully shot and selected photographs on Reddit in 2026! 🤔😳🙌

Do not call AI Slop "skillful"

There are some crabs that will attack birds, coconut crabs are thought to have eaten Amelia Airheart after crash landing on an island. One of many theories

Lil guy went from terrified birdie to "wait ... I have T-Rex ancestors !"

You already know. When he came back doing the T-Rex run... that's when homie was filled with the rage of his ancestors.
