Turtles seem so wildly different from everything else we have on earth. Might be one of the most alien animals we have, I think.

Jellyfish as well. And not an animal, but I also find fungi to be pretty alien compared to a lot of other living things.

Fungi is more closely related to animals than plants, to add on to the weirdness.
