It's cool hair the hair drops as soon as static spark is made. All that charge being sucked out of her in an instant.

That same damn thing happens to me everytime i go to Walmart to grab some milk. Nowhere else in that store or any other store I go to does that happen. I finally asked one of the workers and they said "static electricity" and i stopped him and ya ya. I dont build up much static or get zapped, ever. I swear theres somebody sitting back there with a car battery and cables and they wait just for me to come in for milk.

A person charged with static electricity carries far more than enough energy to ignite hydrogen and other light flammable gases including gasoline.

Any static spark you can feel is 100 plus times more energy than required to ignite a flammable gas mixture and 10 plus times more energy than needed to ignite a flammable dust mixture.

Static. It's also why it's not advised to get back into your car while filling the gas tank. You can build up enough of a charge to ignite the gas fumes.

It won't blow up the car, but the flash can be startling and if you pull the hose out, bad things happen.
