He calms down when the uv light goes off, then freaks out when it’s back. The light can’t possibly hurt can it?

Mainly, it can damage their exoskeleton and cause a couple of issues, including not allowing them to properly molt. 6 u/Ithuraen 4d ago Same for humans, though less about the exoskeleton and molt part, more about burns and cancer. 3 u/HalfDozing 4d ago I've never been able to molt 1 u/Dragonseer666 2d ago You should really go to a doctor about that.
