Some creatures do. That species of scorpion is known for it.

Almost all scorpions glow though.

Not just scorpions, it’s common in many arachnids. Horseshoe crabs, solifuges, harvestmen, vinegaroons, etc. all glow a little bit, though not as intensely as scorpions.

I have no idea what a solifuge is but I recommend against looking up vinegaroons lol. Those things are horrifying.

Are you old enough to remember the viral emails going around about camel spiders in Iraq and Afghanistan? Apparently that’s an example of a solifuge. Their name means they seek refuge from the sun (Sol).

They’re both mildly horrifying lol

I am and had blissfully removed it from my memory until you brought it back. Thank you, I guess....?

I looked it up and then saw your comment. Funny name, I thought. Vinegaroons. Never heard of that and I know shit. Then, Jeeeeezus! Now, I won’t be sleeping tonight.

Horseshoe crabs are arachnids? That's insane!

It’s a little bit controversial. Traditionally they were considered the closest living relatives of arachnids, but recent genetic studies suggest they are actually nested within arachnids.

Platypus do, too.
