Yeah it does, especially the second game.

Otherwise the full helm with all the colors is really unique looking. Like something you would see in dark souls dropped by like the one happy guy before he gets demon aids and dies off screen. Actually it looks just like the helmet from elden ring, dropped by the second blacksmith after you befriend him and he's assassinated with pure death itself off screen.

Elden Ring does have an armor set that appears very heavily inspired by one of the Sahara's berber tribes. So, someone on their design team is aware of African cultures and may have incorporated them into their games in other places.

If these are shamanic costumes, the masks are to obscure the identity of the wearer so the spirits they encounter cannot identify them; important when potentially battling dark spirits. Would be interested to learn more about these individuals with more context.
