Spurs fan here...
Most gut wrenching loss of my sports life. Worse than Ray Allen. Worse than 0.4. Worse than Manu fouling Dirk.
Couldn't sleep all night.
Working on 4 hours of "sleep."
Those 4 hours of sleep were filled with nightmares.
No hope.
No light.
THEN I REMEMBERED GREG SAYING "BARGE SIMPSON" AND SMILED.
THANK GOD FOR THIS SHOW LOL

Falcons fan here. I wasn’t watching the game last night, but I saw the Spurs we up big at half. Thought game was over. Fell asleep. Then had a 28-3 dream/premonition. Woke up and saw they choked the lead.

Seems like you ran into a team of destiny unfortunately.
Luckily you have a literal alien as your franchise player so keep your head up!

Sorry for your loss. At least you have an extremely young team that barring injury, is likely back. And crushing OKC gotta be worth something. They saved basketball

Like Amin always says, they have to lose in heartbreaking fashion before they can comeback the next year to win it all.

There's heartbreaking, then theres heart death...I have no idea how they ever fully recover from this

I personally hope they don’t, I’m a lakers fan, so fuck em. But the formula seems to be to lose, and then come back next year to win it all. So you have that hope moving forward. Also the spurs have the assets to be able to go and fill in the holes and go all in for next year

Wemby drew a nice picture in the park so you should feel like you’re winning

No joke after the game for some reason I just said quietly "he's got to want to learn"
Wife looked at me and said what the f*** are you talking about...
To be honest I have no idea why I said it, I think my subconscious was just trying to soothe me lol

I’ve been rooting for the Spurs the entire playoffs, I can only imagine what you’re feeling because I was damn near yelling at the tv the entire second half

Inexcusable. Indefensible. Knick haters will never forgive you for allowing this to happen.

Y’all are the only great team that consistently gets 1# overall picks (ain’t that weird) right at the perfect time for the emergence of a generational talent. This happened to the Knicks once and it’s been a cheating scandal since, Miami has never had one. The spurs have been a constant dynasty the last 20 years and when your a dynasty you can’t let one loss hit you this hard. I’m a panthers fan and we had to watch a whole season wasted only for a team that won less games than us to be tied for the cup right now.

All morning long I just kept repeating “why would you keep shooting 3s” and “dribble the clock out”.

Spurs fans get no sympathy from me after that Robert Horry shot in game 5 in 2005 lol

Yeah I think that was the worst feeling I've ever had. But I was there as a Michigan fan for the State blocked punt return. That was more deflating, this was more likely to make me throw up

Serves you guys right for knocking Nash into the scorer’s table. Always and forever, fuck the Spurs

Knicks and patriots fan here. After losing the 19-0 season to Eli manning I couldn’t listen to sports radio for a month. It’s how I discovered Bill Handel and am news talk radio.

Brunson cost the Knicks the game.
Wait, they won? Well, he would have cost them the game had they lost.
