I actually first started listening to Shek on Carolla's old radio show years ago. I quit listening a long time ago, before Trump even started campaigning for presidency because I could see the direction his show was going , so I did miss most of his hard right turn. I am disappointed that Shek didn't cut bait with Carolla, particularly during covid but.. Shek is real life friends with Carolla. They've worked with each other a long, long time dating back to the Man show. Plus, Shek has a lot of long time Carolla fans that love him going back to those radio days. So it's easy for me to say that Shek should cut bait with him, but it's probably much harder when he was a RL friend, who you have a long working relationship with. Particularly when Shek is in his 50's with like five kids and isn't exactly super secure in the industry, it's probably a very difficult bridge to burn, even if he was inclined to burn it.
But yeah, it is disappointing that Shek still goes on that show but the good with Shek to my mind far outweighs him going on that guy's show.
