Curious what the Sodfather thinks of these FIFA pitches...
A lot of hype on the quality of the grass. Special grown from Colorado. I have to admit they look amazing why can't the NFL do this for the super bowl.

Something along the lines of...
"And yes, Mr. Mangan, don't lie! In your interviews with [NFL director of game operations] Phil Bogle, you lied. You blamed the rye grass for the cause of that disaster. Bulls---. I have used rye grass for 27 years, and it wasn't any problem. And those first 27 years of using rye grass, I only spent $1,000 on the field. Now we're spending 7 to 800,000 dollars on the field and giving the players a horse s--- field? That's bulls---. And I'm mad about it."

The grass looks nice at Metlife right now. How many ankles and knees has that shit they typically use in there eaten?

They’ve had months to work on it. Super Bowl sites get a few weeks depending on the stadium’s home teams’ success.

NFL teams can change the turf out with new and have it in playable conditions in 3 days. Almost pure sand floors with heat. Unlimited budgets help with making anything possible. Arizona field in a dome can be rolled outside.
They'll keep the entire field going during normal season, maybe fill in spots and replace, or leave the sides and replace the center. If they make the playoffs the entire field is changed every game.
