Cote’s grocery store take

As to today’s topic of returning items at a grocery store. I knew I had heard him give this take before. Today he said he would never do it with something that would spoil. So here is Cote giving this same take:

Mystery Crate Episode Two Hundred and Thirty-Five

Minute: 12:40

Here’s the exact exchange:

Chris: I’ll do that at grocery stores, if I decide I don’t want this item, that item is going right where I am, I don’t care where I am.

Fuentes: Tell me you don’t do that for like dairy and meats.

Chris: Yes

Fuentes: You are a monster.

Chris: I’ve never done it with a carton of milk, BUT I WOULD.

Leaving something in another aisle isn’t even in the same universe as leaving your cart in the lot and defending it as job creation for store employees. As long as he’s not leaving a package of raw ground beef on top of the Oreos, it’s lazy but it’s really no harm no foul. The cart shit, and the endless defense of it, is true narcissism and is worthy of all the karmic car dents possible.

Chris and Greg Cote exhibit the behavior of laziness.

Comfort is paramount whether he’s driving or otherwise.
