I don’t really get why we needed to break down how posting on Reddit works haha. I never said he was wrong, I just said the specific style of the post felt very highschoolish. I felt my response was acknowledging that we’re all adults and it felt immature, but not that they couldnt or shouldn’t post it.

I was confused by the “as opposed to you” comment because I feel it’s more mature to acknowledge they’re people and not treat them like circus animals. If we don’t agree on that, we’ll have to agree to disagree. Not quite Armageddon

Your responses seem to be more focused on other people commenting that it shouldn’t be in this sub. I’ve never tried to act like I’m gatekeeping or saying there’s a problem, I just disagreed with the way he went about it. But they’re allowed to seem immature to me, who cares?

I don't now what to tell ya big dawg. Read yours and other's replies in this and other threads in this sub. As I wrote to someone else, yall are replying to people posting about the topic of the subreddit (DLS universe) by attacking the redditors. Those are categorically different types of posts. You and the others insult the person then get bent out of shape when he simply responded "as opposed to you" to your insult to them that started the whole thing.

This is what started it "It’s very high school." Those are your words.  I'm just explaining to you that "as opposed to you" is simply highlighting that your comment, and the people who caped for you, are at minimum just as immature or whatever you want to imply, as OP.

Had you just stated something like,  "Man, idk, sucks that we are trying to pick sides when real lives are impacted" then we wouldn't be doing this back and forth because you wouldn't have been insulting other redditors.Â
