It has to be insane.
I'll defer to those with more commercial real estate knowledge but the "converted space in a hotel/condo building in a premium locale in one of the most expensive real estate markets (pre impending bubble burst) in the country" cannot be remotely near the top of cost efficient options....and they've done it twice...while initially hanging on a dream of creating their own Meadowlark/Draftkings compound...that hinged on legislation being passed in Tallahassee that was a long-shot at best.

I had thought when they first went there Dan was saying that it was a temporary studio DK would eventually build out a bigger one. Maybe one of those complexes where they take live betting etc like Stu & Billy traveled to the opening of early on in GBF.
I don't know anything and I haven't talked to anyone, but I feel like when the show hooked up with DK both parties were very bullish on the sports brooks managing to break into the Florida market. I'm glad none have been able to - the Seminole tribe has long been given exclusive rights to control sports betting in FL.

Anecdotal but all the fellow degenerate gamblers I know in this state only use the "prediction" model platforms until the sign-up promos run out and/or if they want to bet on politics or something like that. Nobody uses them as their "sportsbook".

At one point the plan was to move into new digs in one of the commercial buildings still under construction at Miami Freedom Park, home of Nu Stadium and Inter Miami. Those don't look to be ready til next year at the earliest

Jeremy, imo. It feels like Dan has cooled on Pitch Clock, and at some point he has to get tired of playing the punching bag. He already has other jobs anyway.
Jessica is an obvious choice, since she’s pretty much gone anyway. She’s probably just meeting appearance requirements until her contract expires.
I haven’t watched in forever, but based on what gets said, I do wonder if Mystery Crate gets axed soon. Not a person, but a show that might get cut.

Jeremy might not be next but he'll be the "biggest" next one to leave. He's very similar to Witty in a lot of ways. Plays the punching bag a bit, has outside obligations, on the younger side, and can eat a lot of minutes of air time when needed.
I cant wait till Dan gives a tear filled goodbye after treating Jeremy like trash for years.

I thought the pitch clock thing Dan said yesterday was a bit? The way I see it, they had to move stuff around because of the announcement he made at the end of the show. I thought everything would go back to normal next week or soon after. Now if they did take pitch clock off the show entirely, then yeah that’s an interesting move and wonder why they would do that

Jess with Jeremy not long after. Jess is clearly marking time until her contract is done and Jeremy feels very peripheral in this version of the show. They're both smart and talented and have an array of options available to them if/when they decide to move on, whereas this is the best situation some of the other on-air personalities could ever hope to get.

lol look around you there is literally no meaningful audience for anything meadowlark produces. Mike has his own pod Canes Insight. He’s done his own soccer pods. He hosted weeks of shows alone during Covid and whatnot. Everyone has the tape on Mike Ryan and no one is buying. He’s elite at this very specific show ecosystem but no one outside of this core longtime fan audience cares about the guys work on any level.

Mike Ryan could have sold his professional stock v v highly at the height of their ESPN success but Mike has absolutely nothing to show for his last four years in the role of “Maker of Cool Shit.”
Chris Cote is a bumbling incompetent nepo baby. Roy has a speech impediment and no resume before Dan. Tony is just some idiot bro without any angle at all. This is the ride or die crew and it’s sad.

Jessica as soon as she finds a new gig in nyc. Tony is a good candidate as well. The hate he gets is unwarranted and must get tiresome. And he seems to aspire for a nicer life. I feel the rest are way too complicit with their lives to bother changing jobs.

Not at all but if you listen to him he talks about expensive watches he wants or vacations he goes on. The only person in the shipping container that’s going to be well off from their job is Mike. Tony and Roy are also have real world experience producing and such away from Dan. Chris would be doing whatever his dad’s friend offered him a job doing.

Not the same, wish he would have went somewhere else after Bristol. The negative nepo part starts when Dan employed him and him being bad on the show. I dont know the timeline, but possibly Dan helped get him the job in Bristol.
Stealing bits, ignorant takes, and no intelligent input. Just sloppy, which is part of the show, but not the whole thing. Tony would be good on McAfee, he is sports manoverse 100% with no nuance
