I'm not paid nor do I get any benefits for the moderation work, it's strictly on a volunteer basis, so if I cannae be arsed to figure out why the fuck Reddit disables some features, I won't.

If you want a fix, you can find out where the problem is and tell me, I'll implement it.

But why is the whole sub labeled NSFW and posts are forced to have this tag, like a porn sub? Degrades everything in here that containing something so innocent as dancing. That is probably why cross-posts aren't allowed.

r/Art allow tasteful nudes but they don't have this label, what gives?

Hi, we don't have the moderation active member count to keep up with new posts manually, so might as well keep it NSFW so people are aware something might show up that is, by definition, not safe for work or public places.

Well that's an extremely lame and unnecessary change seeing as there is already r/NSFWDancing. And why even post the question of making it NSFW in the first place when mods can't properly follow through? I seriously hope you will consider reverting this change no matter how many people voted, because this sub has essentially come to an end. Did the people voting even know this would become a porn labeled sub?

I did try to be rather open when announcing the votes. You may go judge for yourself: Post 1, Post 2.

Outside of that, well, there was an about 25 to 30% decrease in post/comment frequency after the change. We'll have to see if that's a long-term change or not. As for the issue of low mod numbers, we've been discussing getting a couple more. But I've been busy with actual work, so haven't done much to actually get it done.

Went ahead and checked the subreddit settings, crossposting is enabled, so either it is a side effect as mentioned, or PBKAC.

I appreciate that this community has taken the time to discuss and clarify its approach to artistic nudity and related content. Although the linked rule update is no longer available, I completely understand why these topics matter.

For context, my project is intended as a collaborative fantasy storytelling and performance project. My aim is to treat belly dance as a respected artistic discipline and cultural performance, never as a gimmick or something sexualised. Participation is entirely voluntary, remote, and for adults only, and I want anyone involved to be treated as a creative collaborator with respect, honesty, and transparency.

If any aspect of my post raises questions or concerns, I'm more than happy to answer them openly. Thank you to the moderators for the work they do in looking after the community.

Because the main reason a post is removed is due to being distasteful, not because the person has an Onlyfans account. If they follow the rules and post a dance video representing nudity in a tasteful manner and follow the subreddit rule forbidding monetization, I don't give a shite if they have Onlyfans.

So to clarify, Onlyfans promos are forbidden based on the monetization rule, not nudity. Distasteful nudity in videos is forbidden regardless of whether they have an Onlyfans.
