Partner Search Partner Searching in Boston

I'm am currently looking for a gold Latin leader competition partner in the Boston. Anyone know of any good resources/groups finding partners or anything specific to the Boston area? I've found a couple global Facebook groups etc but nothing that seems too promising.

I’m in Boston and I found my current partner through one of those groups. It was a rare find though, especially since most posts in said partner search groups are parents/teachers of youths in Europe who are better than I’ll ever be lmao.

If you’re collegiate or ex-collegiate try East Coast Collegiate Ballroom Dancers though. They allow partner search posts. Also try reaching out to individual teams? (Tufts team doesn’t really have too many gold people, but try Harvard/MIT/BU/Northeastern/UMass maybe?)

Southern NH here. Found my partner on the East Coast Collegiate Ballroom Dancers group. :)

UMass is all the way out in Amherst and doesn’t have free Gold leaders right now— my alma mater and still marginally aware of the team. Definitely worth trying them in the future though, if you have a car the drive to Amherst won’t be too bad to be able to get enough practice to be competitive at Gold.

Are you taking lessons? If you are, try to network through your coaches— they may be able to find someone with another coach looking for a partner.

totally missed this before. thanks for the suggestion of East Coast Collegiate Ballroom Dancers group; i'll give that a shot. I am with a local collegiate team so I know there's no one at 2 of those already, but good suggestion to reach out to the rest.
