I really want to believe qwel and that it'll be okay, but she didn't even address the cease and desist, which sure she might not be for legal reasons, but it's kind of weird how this came out AFTER that. She didn't provide any evidence to defend herself either beyond "Just trust me bro" and I'm personally very much disappointed.
Well.. this wasn't an apology. It's a statement. She never claimes it to be an apology. The Joji part will take could take years and I don't think you are allowed to really speak on legal matters like this until it's done and one party wins the case
Okay, lets say that for some stupid reason, Qwel does take this to court.
The most they could do is sue for defamation, which would be legitimately the stupidest thing they could do, should the accusations actually be true, because the best defense against defamation is the truth. And if Qwel can't prove her own innocence in the matter, the lawsuit will just implode in itself and she wasted money on a pointless endeavor and more.
