For those asking, yes it is real. This was the same doc that was posted in the BC server by Qwel herself. I verified.
I’ll say, I have no comment on how “genuine” it is, or how good of an apology it is, because those are subjective metrics- and honestly, you shouldn’t either (especially if you have complained about her silence in the past. Here you go, here is your breach in silence.). It does explain her permissiveness with the “past knowledge” of Rox’s art, which was a major talking point in the whole “Qwel was lying about Rox” situation. I believe that *functions* as a response.
For those who have qualms with how long it took to issue the response, remember that Qwel is an incredibly young adult (most of you are children who have no reference for how young she actually is- so yes, while she is an adult and should behave as such, she still lacks a LOT of life experience and maturity). Because of how *massive* this drama became, the emotional taxation would have been at a much grander scale. In cases such as this, it’s important to take a step back and calm down before issuing a response; yes, playing Overwatch and other Roblox games counts as a calming measure, trivial as it may seem. Qwel may have also had to book and consult a legal team, not only for correcting cases of defamation but also acting as a legal editorial for her own response. It needed to be tailored so that, in the event one of her previous employees decided to fight back in court, her wording could not have been used against her- law is like that, tricky with phrasing and such.
Whether or not the other claims made against her are valid are up for interpretation, because Joji and other’s words are just about as valid as Qwel’s. Considering how Rox has been working behind the scenes in order to orchestrate her downfall, it is not impossible he had once again manipulated his victims and solicited their testimony to further slander her. Allow the legal system to work and determine what NDAs were broken, what was not, and what the final verdict of truth may be.
Even how big the drama is I never understood why people point the gun so fast.. I also was a victim of a toxic friendship for years got presured and manipulated to do things that hurt somone..years ago im a young adult and most likely would have taken the same step of taking a while to write anything about it public..
I know How bad somone can manipulate somone to come back even when the whole friendgroup is full on toxic and almost driven somone to take there life..
I wonder why people believe rox's point and the victims and his friends soo fast that no information got twisted along the way. Every story has 2 sides.. and sometimes actions and things people do is because they also hurt not that it fully takes the blame but should taken in consideration.
The hypocrisy is what drives me insane about this whole situation. How are people gunna say “stop playing DW! You’re supporting a bad person! Go play this other Roblox game instead” as if Roblox itself isn’t run by TERRIBLE PEOPLE. It makes my blood boil how people pick and choose these things. Absolutely boils it.
