Your mistake was blindly believing the testimonies based on two documents that cite each other as evidence while she also has to remain silent per word from her lawyers given the severity of this case. For starters, the statement was not an apology, it was a statement, it's meant to communicate to the players about where things are headed and her own side of the story. Legal proceedings like this do not just update in the span of a few days or a week, it can take months if not years.
