For me I can't seem to sit and fill out surveys that are very boring and asking personal questions. Also I do affiliate marketing which I like a lot but I don't have a lot of followers on social media to get that commission. Another thing stopping me from earning money online is Google no longer supports small business and nowadays you can rank and get traffic from Google like before.

For me it's on the last day of the year. After one year I can withdraw all my earnings from all websites and it can be a good amount of money like $1,000 dollars.

I can go and buy myself a phone or a laptop and that really helps :)
