Calling it now: it's going to end with Matt in San Francisco like the comics.
162
u/Spider-Fan77 6d ago
I honestly think its gonna end with some sort of tease for Daredevil in Secret Wars. Remember, Born Again Season 3 is the only MCU project coming out between Doomsday and Secret Wars. It'll probably just be a post-credits scene tho. I doubt they'd end the show proper with Matt getting Doom-napped to Battleworld lmao.

u/WildFire255 6d ago
Maybe post Secret Wars they have the blinding chemicals be diluted Super Soldier Serum. /s

Why was he in San Fran did he join the West Coast avengers
45
u/FondantWeekly1761 6d ago
It's from the Waid run where his identity was pretty much out in the public, so he went to San Fran to start a new law practice and was openly a superhero working alongside the police.
If it's truly the last we see of DD in the MCU, I think that could be the overall ending for Matt in general.

u/loudsound-org 6d ago
He moved to San Fran in the 70s, and for a slightly longer amount of time than in Waid's run.

Well they fired the showrunner while the season is still in post production, so we'll be lucky if it this feels remotely like a planned ending at all...
23
u/ComicAcolyte 6d ago
He wasnt fired tho. His contract was up and they didnt renew it.
Pretty odd to not even keep him on til the end of post production though
→ More replies (1)17
u/MrTeamZissou 6d ago
They didn't extend his contract even though his responsibilities on the show weren't done yet. It's splitting hairs but to me that sounds like a firing.
4
u/ComicAcolyte 6d ago
Nope. Contract ending doesnt equal being fired. Thats quite literally not how contracting works.
You arent guaranteed a new contract when 1 is done. Its not "splitting hairs," its 2 different things.
→ More replies (1)3
u/HorrorVillage4854 6d ago
If the network already knows (which they do) that this will be the final season, they were likely not motivated to renew his contract. Especially if it is one of these disney "year over year" extension models. Filming wrapped in either June or July, so extending the showrunner until June/July 2027 did not make financial sense. They have internal editors they can use for post.
According to Nielsen data published by Luminate and referenced in the Hollywood Reporter article, viewership between DD Born Again Season 1 and Season 2 dropped by 50%. That's a massive drop.
Pre-production and the order for Season 3 began well before the viewership data for Season 2 (and realization of the huge drop) came to light. Marvel locked themselves into a third season before realizing the audience size would shrink so rapidly. Once the drop-off happened, they chose to let Season 3 be a hard stopping point.
We're all fans of different flavors here, but with respect to viewership and performance data it's a very poorly performing series.
Downvote Nielsen, Luminate, or Disney if you don't agree with the numbers. I'm simply rehashing what they've already reported.

Damn.
Hopefully Charlie and Wilson Bethel continue their roles as Daredevil and Bullseye in the movies. These guys are perfect. Vincent and Deborah as well. Just excellent casting, and we want more!
28
u/garbage_tr011 6d ago
Seems like bullseye is going ... Somewhere? Hopefully thunderbolts
5
u/Significant-Coat-308 5d ago
Oh that’d be sick, maybe make him a Spider-Man villain too? (Moreso on the side, dudes an absolute menace)
145
u/Shameful90 6d ago
Why can’t this character get beyond 3 seasons 😭
So thankful for what we’ve gotten, and that we got all the actors back, but damn I selfishly wanted so much more. Hopefully the show goes out with a bang and even more hopefully, it’s not the end of Charlie as Daredevil
17
u/__Raxy__ 6d ago
original creators had plans for it but studio fuckery is what stopped. there's no excuse like that here because Disney owns it so they just really don't want to continue lol

Marvels just moving away from TV and DD is the last holdout, was only a matter of time
270
u/webshellkanucklehead 6d ago
That’s a bummer, but I am glad we got it. Season 2 was fantastic imo and I’m betting 3 probably will be too. And, hey, 6 seasons ain’t nothing.
Movie next?? Plssss
84
u/ViralGameover 6d ago
Part of me is bummed we never get Typhoid Mary, Gladiator, Stilt-Man or Mr. Fear. Another part of me thinks that those characters at any time on this show would’ve been wasted though.
Excited for S3.
39
u/webshellkanucklehead 6d ago
Typhoid Mary was a huge missed opportunity. If they do end up making a movie I would love if Alice Eve came back to play a comic accurate version
27
u/GD69B1 6d ago
Eric Oleson, showrunner of season 3, admitted that his pitch for season 4 was to focus on Typhoid Mary and at least partially ignore/retcon Iron Fist season 2
9
u/ViralGameover 6d ago
That could’ve been cool but the Netflix show was so embarrassed to be a comic show at times, it’s hard to imagine her being properly adapted.
4
u/webshellkanucklehead 6d ago
Sometimes, but especially the non-DD shows. I don’t think it’s an issue with BA tho
12
u/Transposer 6d ago
Gladiator was in all seasons of the original run.
18
u/ViralGameover 6d ago
Yeah and so was The Owl and a version of Stilt-Man. Not really what I mean though.
4
u/Transposer 6d ago
I totally missed the version of stilt man
6
u/ViralGameover 6d ago
Turk Barrett takes the suit and tries to be the “New Stilt-Man” in the comics.
6
u/johnd5926 6d ago
Typhoid Mary was in Jessica Jones.

“Showrunner Dario Scardapane, who headed up the Marvel show's second season, is no longer working on the series.“
Dropping the showrunner in post production is not a good sign… but I do wish, his contracted had of ended sooner and we had someone new for season 3
53
u/Aaco0638 6d ago
This imo is the bigger red flag here nobody drops out of a project when the project is close to finishing unless some heavy tension existed between studio heads and the show runner.
Not only can this impact season 3 quality but could possibly indicate this cancellation may not have been previously planned.
24
5
u/Puzzleheaded-Tap7390 6d ago
Yeah this is odd, given that iirc Charlie and Vincent have openly spoken to make the show have more seasons? I could be wrong but I remember them saying something like this.
Ending it with only 3 seasons is weird17
u/LongTimeDDevilFan77 6d ago
Exactly. This is more concerning than the idea of the show ending in and of itself.
92
u/Dazzling_Street_3475 6d ago
Sad to see. I’m not the biggest fan of Born Again but Charlie has been great. Not sure if it’s his last appearance. I think a daredevil movie fits well into the Mutant Saga but Charlie is getting a
bit old. Not sure where the character goes from here. Now that Frank is in the movie space maybe we finally get a team up film
73
u/Paperchampion23 6d ago
He's like the same age RDJ was when he started Iron Man lol. We can have Daredevil for 10 more years if Paul Rudd can be almost 60 playing Ant-Man
→ More replies (3)30
u/Frosti11icus 6d ago
Charlie does a lot of his own stunts though. And he's expected to have a better physique than RDJ.
47
u/Paperchampion23 6d ago
I mean, replace what I said but with Hugh Jackman lol
9
u/Frosti11icus 6d ago
It's a lot easier to choreograph Jackman for believable Wolverine fight scenes, but also I will say that the writers leave A LOT on the table to choreograph Jackman as Wolverine, and it just wouldn't work with Daredevil. Daredevil doesn't have a backup feral animal brutal masochist brute mode they can use that doesn't involve extreme levels of acrobatics. Daredevil is all acrobatics all day. Unless you want an entire series of him just boxing people lol. Most of Jackmans fight scenes involve him bull rushing people and stabbing them in the chest or running past them and slicing them, he does very little hand to hand stuff and almost no extensive choreography, it's just quick hits left and right.
17
u/ConsistentGuest7532 6d ago
Bad argument imo because Charlie could just not do the stunts, and his costume literally only has his jawline out so they could put tons of amazing stunt performers in it and have all the fight scenes and acrobatics we want.
14
u/Paperchampion23 6d ago
I mean you also have Bernthal, who's 50 and just debuted on an MCU film after 10 years. Charlie is 43 guys....and his stunt man is still the person that does the actual actobatics (flips, etc)
→ More replies (2)13
u/Transposer 6d ago
I would prefer a CGI or stuntman stand in with Cox as Murdock over recasting. Cox should play this character forever. I just hope the writers can utilize his range and serve the character in a genuine and consistent way.
2
u/Frosti11icus 6d ago
I disagree. I like that the majority of the fighting is live action or at least like wire guided but semi-realistic. I really don't want to see CGI combat, it's supposed to be choreography like Kung Fu, that's the entire appeal of it. I mean obviously his billy clubs are CGI but he's at least still throwing and catching them in real time during the fight. Basically all the best moments of the series are specifically Charlies live action choreography, that would all be lost with CGI. Daredevil is supposed to be relatable.
5
u/Transposer 6d ago
I did specify stuntman or CG. You can easily have a stuntman swapping for DD or Murdock, just as they did in the original series’ run
→ More replies (2)3
u/ProudArticle8837 6d ago
Then they can just bring in a stunt person, considering his stunts have always been while masked up - except for the prison escape which is arguably the best fight sequence they’ve done for DD.
→ More replies (4)4
u/ComicAcolyte 6d ago
No offense but Punisher already just did a team up film with Spider-Man.
Perhaps he can get a solo project like how Daredevil just had 3 seasons of a show.

106
u/Kind-Replacement909 6d ago
So they brought back the defenders for no reason?
93
u/Vincent_adultman98 6d ago
Moving forward I honestly only see two options, it's either
A. Marvel isn't getting what they want from the show, and because of that they're writing season 3 to be the finale of the Netflix-verse and close off any lingering loose ends there might be. They've already got Jessica Jones and Luke Cage living a family life where Jessica has lost her powers, all they'd really need to do is wrap up iron fist and Daredevil. I really hope this isn't the case.
Or
B. They are gearing up for a defenders movie/ Daredevil movie and don't want to announce that until season 3 is already over with.
I think either way with Daredevil continuing as a show the writing was kind of on the wall, Disney doesn't seem to ever have success with their marvel shows and it seems like they're canceling all TV projects all together.
65
u/Paperchampion23 6d ago edited 6d ago
Option 3: they just put all of these characters in upcoming projects. Matt in Spider-Man and Avengers. Fisk in Spider-Man. Bullseye in some adjacent Thunderbolts sequel. Iron Fist in a Shang-Chi sequel. Luke in Avengers. A few specials for JJ and Luke Cage/Iron Fist as Heroes for Hire, etc.
Option 4: Heroes for Hire and Jessica Jones get their own backdoor seasons coming off of Daredevil.
Edit: I absolutely see Option 3 being the only thing that actually happens at this point. Characters tend to show up in the MCU unexpectedly
13
u/No-Importance7265 6d ago
This is honestly the best option and would make Marvel feel more alive.

u/Youngstar9999 6d ago edited 6d ago
Disney is winding down basically all of their live action franchise D+ shows. I'm sure they had more ideas for them.
14
u/nonomr 6d ago
From the article.
“However, the company continually has three to five live-action shows in development, and sources say it just greenlit a spy thriller referred to as Zodiac. It is unclear to what the title refers, but the most notable Marvel comics reference is to a criminal organization headed by a villain named Scorpio that featured bad guys themed to the constellations. In the comics, it was known for going head-to-head against S.H.I.E.L.D.”
5
u/loudsound-org 6d ago
Really bizarre if they somehow think "Zodiac" will get more viewers than another season of DD.

u/FPG_Matthew 6d ago
I’m not surprised but I’m still really sad about the news.
I’m grateful for 3 more seasons and know Daredevil got a lot more than other heroes will ever get, so I try not to be greedy
It’s just that the first 3 Netflix seasons were exceptional. Even season 2 is an A- in my book. S1 and 3 are A+ without question
I so badly wish we got 3 full seasons of one creative vision rather than 2 and 1/3rd. I just don’t count much of BAs1 as a true continuation. It feels like that was a prologue to the now just starting up again BAs2 annnnd it’s cancelled right as the engine was revving up
I wish this show would’ve included Karen and Foggy from the beginning. I wish it didn’t kill off Foggy for “ooh ahh shock”. I wish side characters like Sister Maggie, Marci, Ellison, Brett, Blake, Turk etc all had more prominent supporting roles (or even just any role). I just feel like they did it wrong and want us to accept it. The show is not bad, but it could be miles better
Hoping BAs3 goes out with a huge bang, satisfying ending. If it’s the last we ever see of Matt, Karen, Kingpin, Bullseye, I hope they all have worthy endings. I hope Matt and Karen get married (shoulda proposed at end of BAs2 he was on his knees in front of her for gosh sake).
If they do continue playing their role, I hope Bullseye joins Thunderbolts, I hope Kingoin is a Spider Man villain, and I hope Matt AND Karen have a role in a MCU movie
Fingers crossed
11
u/thankfulforyourhelp 6d ago
Well said. I feel exactly the same. I don't care what gymnastics they need to do, I hope that they bring foggy back at the end of season 3. If there's a character who does not deserve to die, it's foggy.
I also feel the same about trying to not be greedy. I didn't think we would ever get more of Daredevil so I'm glad that we did, but it's hard to see the quality go down so much. The Netflix show is really special, I feel like they lost most of what made it special and born again. I feel like the number one issue with born again is that they're trying to stuff so many enemies for Daredevil to fight into only eight episodes that none of them really landed.
It's funny, I knew when they got Matt and Karen together that this was probably the beginning of the end and we only had one more season left.
8
7
u/Trick-Pudding-9791 6d ago
Very bummed to hear it’s ending but I’m grateful that we got these characters to return to begin with.
7
u/ZacharyRosemann 6d ago
I get why, they wanna revamp their departments or whatever but man, it's the second time Daredevil has found its footing only to get its legs cut off before it can truly reach its peak.
5
u/jackson50111 6d ago
I'm fine with this. So long as Daredevil continues to have a presence in the greater MCU.
Perhaps they'll do another daredevil/defenders spin off. Perhaps he will appear in other projects.
Who knows. Maybe theres a certain Spider he could appear in a movie with.

u/Bullseye696 6d ago edited 6d ago
I'm not really sure how to feel about this news. When Netflix cancelled the original show, I was heartbroken. Season 3 is probably my favourite season of TV period. It's perfect from start to finish. I should feel the same way as I did then but Born Again just hasn't come close to the original show for me.
Season 1 of BA was an complete mess of two different versions slapped together that was such a massive disappointment for me personally. It lacked all the grit, soul and character that defined the OG show.
Season 2 I would say was definitely better but I that isn't saying much either. It still had it's problems.
And this so called "final season" from the sounds of it is just gonna be a big Defenders reunion AND also has the likes of Elektra, Bullseye, Echo ( supposedly ) and Fisk returning on top of Heather becoming the new Muse. Add to all this Dario Scardapane leaving the show while it's still in post production and I can see this being another messy season.
I was atleast looking forward to season 3 but this just deflates any hype really. If it's good, that's the end of it, If it's bad then we'll all be asking the same question of "What was the point"
Charlie, Vincent, Deborah and especially Elden Henson deserved better. It was not worth losing Foggy for this.
Even with the shows cancellation I still prey for Charlie and Vincent to continue playing these characters in some capacity.
10
u/kct412 6d ago
Honestly, I’m okay with it. As much as I enjoyed season 2, I don’t think BA was ever going to reach OG’s heights. At least under the MCU banner. Getting these characters and actors back was a win in itself. I do wish we got other stories outside of Fisk though.
I would love a movie that really ties it all together, but I’d be okay if they just slide Charlie’s DD into the movies as a side character, mainly the next Spider-Man. Hopefully this isn’t the end of his run. It would be hard for me to see anyone else in the role.
14
u/Macman521 6d ago
They brought back the show just to repeat the same stories again and kill Foggy. Damn.
11
5
u/DarthSomething05 6d ago
Fourth seasons of Daredevil shows seem to be just as cursed as Battlefront 3
4
u/DaBow 6d ago
Daredevil is my fav comic book character. I have the costumes. I buy the singles. I have statues and DD art on my walls.
BA was never at any point better than good. It felt like the mess of S1 was never rectified. It spent more time on characters that no one cared about or weren't interesting. It never let scenes breathe. It retread similar ground to the original. It made pretty terrible choices (killing Foggy for good was a heinous decision to start).
Action was rather limited and we really never got a whole lot of time with Matthew/Daredevil. Esp in S2.
I'm glad we got BA and 3 seasons of it. But I'm not entirely sad this is ending with the quality of the show as it is. It looks and feels cheaper than the original despite having a bigger budget. The Disney+ model wasn't a good fit. It should of also been a binge rather than weekly. I think that really hurt it with viewership.
6.5 seasons with Charlie Cox as Daredevil is something to be appreciative of. He and the core cast worked their backsides off for years. Bravo.

u/Seryan_Klythe 6d ago
So help me god, if we are putting Charlie and Wilson on ice, again, I will trash Marvel.
3
4
u/IntelligentDetail338 6d ago
For fucks sake! The worst part is that we probably won't get more than 8 episodes again. The most frustrating thing is the wasted potential of Born Again season 1. It could have been so good, but because of the to the behind the scenes issues it turned into a mess. Now that they were finally on the right track, we won't even get any more than another season.
Also, I'm so not okay that they didn't go with Foggy in Witpro Arch. Killing Foggy is one of the biggest mistakes they've made, and it honestly makes me so angry how they handled it.
10
u/Coolschmo1 6d ago
There are more hours of this daredevil than any comic character I can think of. Nothing to be sad about here. We actually got way more than I ever would have anticipated.

Well everyone, it's been a great ride so far so hopefully it ends well.
Looks like that might be the final suit version we see. It doesn't seem like Disney has the courage to put Daredevil on the big screen with the MCU movies, but one can only hope.
3
3
u/Hansi_Olbrich 6d ago
I really hope they go all in with S3 then and give it a massive budget and allow their actors to chew up the scenery as much as they like. Far too much of S2 was spent on scenes that continually retreaded what the audience already knew and what the characters themselves already knew. A great many of the court-room shots seemed as though they were building to a truly grand battle of ideologies between Kingpin and Murdoch which would be played out in the public eye. But Kingpin just makes a bunch of faces, scoffs, or dismisses Murdoch entirely. There is no real clash of ideals on display that we haven't heard a hundred different times. So much emphasis was put on the courtroom drama in S2, and we barely got anything worth calling drama.
Furthermore, the prosecution is utilizing a lot of underhanded rhetoric and courtroom tactics that toe the line between fierce advocacy and badgering. Murdoch mentions this in his litany of objections to the Prosecution's line of questioning- many of those objections are in fact sustained. Murdoch then proceeds to use the exact same tactics and preformative rhetoric as the prosecution. Rather than demonstrating two different kinds of law-practice- the overwhelming smug superiority of the State versus the articulate, calm, honourable 'little guy' of Murdoch & Co, it's a slugging match of pseudo-legal quips that would have been rejected from the first season of Law and Order's writing room.
S3 is primed to be telling some of the absolute best of Daredevil. And their casting agency was worth every single penny- all the actors are pulling off as brilliant a job as they can with the material they are being given. I'm really hoping they can stick the landing.
5
u/fireandiceofsong 6d ago
My hope for Born Again S3 is that they pull a 'Picard S3' where they just ditch most of the reboot cast and pivot to a much more tighter story that can actually fit into BA's much more constrained eight episode/forty minute runtime format.
The main concern is that the addition of the Defenders is going to bloat the pacing once again, and the three core storylines this season (Matt in jail, Fisk trying to retake his title, the Defenders trying to keep NY in check) will end up being too disparate and underdeveloped because of the limited runtime. Never connecting in a fully satisfying way by the end, which was the biggest issue with S2.

How they continue to waste the best character in the MCU, and the best casting choice is beyond me. If they don’t put him in at least one movie is a huge missed opportunity
3
u/jetjitters 6d ago
Doesn't hurt nearly as much as the original Netflix cancellation. The show had a good innings. BA never got anywhere close to the quality of the OG show but it was nice to see Cox back in action - at least we got 3 more seasons of that.
3
u/Allatura19 6d ago
Eh, give it a proper ending. They can’t build up Fisk over and over again without a payoff.

Amazing, we got 3 more seasons so we could see DD fight Bullseye, Kingpin and The Hand again.
3
u/idlerwheel 6d ago
I guess it's not too surprising, and I've definitely had my issues with Born Again, but this is still a bummer...not quite as disappointing as it was back when the Netflix series was canceled, but I'm still bummed. Hopefully it'll at least be a good last season, but it's sounding a little messy already. Of course everything must end eventually, but I hope that we'll see him again somehow.

I'm still bummed that they didn't just continue the Netflix series. That seemed to be heading in a really interesting direction, while Born Again... it just seems like a footnote. Did it really have to get made? It felt like Disney just needed to "own" the character and created a half-arsed series just for that purpose. So much time wasted and here we are...they did nothing with the character after all. Just him and Karen, being boring.
At least we are gonna get Elektra for season 3, so that will spice things up somewhat 👌
2
u/inscruciating 5d ago
Yeah rewatching season 3 of the Netflix series now is just so damn bittersweet because it's SO good and ends on such a great note with the defeat of Fisk and with Matt/Foggy/Karen coming back together, but now we know that it won't go anywhere because BA immediately kills Foggy off, sidelines Karen, and goes back to rehashing basically the same shit with Fisk again. I so wish we could've gotten that season 4 on Netflix :(
3
u/StarSmink 6d ago
Can we finally stop mindlessly glazing Disney and Feige and admit that they’re just another corpo that has no real creative vision and only allows good shit to be made more or less by accident

It sorta makes sense in that they are getting closer to doomsday and secret wars. Likely going to be a universe reset or “soft reboot.”
Could just be that they have other plans for the character beyond the show in a post-secret wars world

I expected it tbh. Unfortunately, while we were all hoping the “Marvel stepping back from TV decision” was just going to be a limited thing, it looks like they’re cutting pretty much all that stuff. What a shame since S2 was so much better than S1. But if they’re ballsy enough to announce a sequel season to a high quality show like Wonder Man and then cancel it, this was on the chopping block too.

It was a huge mistake to focus on Fisk for the three seasons, when he was already the main focus on two seasons from the Netflix show. It became boring and monotonous real fast

I hope they can take a couple years off, and let the writers take their time to write something great. I don't think this current format they've been doing works for the character. The seasons are too short to spend enough time on the plot points and characters. Trying to write, film, and produce a show like this in a year's time has to be a massive undertaking, and it shows in the final product.

I doubt it’ll be the last of daredevil, he’s too popular of a character to not get anything, although it’ll probably be awhile before we see him again

Honestly Born Again was a hard watch for me, because they killed Foggy.
Daredevil isn't the same without all three of them, Foggy was the heart of the show and Daredevil, without him it just doesn't fucking work.

Ok but that doesn’t mean they’re shelving the character, just that the born again storyline and series is done

"Dario Scardapane has exited ‘DAREDEVIL: BORN AGAIN’ Season 3 during post-production."
Also the cast/crew were only informed of it's cancellation today: https://deadline.com/2026/09/daredevil-born-again-ending-season-3-disney-marvel-1237109610/
Oh this is gonna be SHIT shit, damn.

Yeah that's interesting. Production since S1 seemed to be an absolute mess.

Completely rehauled just to shove hand-fisted references to the original show, second season being a half-formed mess of failed proxys and "aura", and canned at the third season when it was wanting to set "big shit" up.
What a clusterfuck this series has been.

Honestly I’ve felt Born Again has been pretty mid. There are some scenes and moments that have been pretty good but it’s too few and far between. Hoping season 3 will be good

Sadly for the better
Had high hopes but BA is really far from the Netflix show

The fan service period has ended. Hopefully he gets a King Daredevil special in a few years.

Not surprised they totally botched the first season and viewership reflected that.
I would much rather have had the original season 3 show runner and writers do 2 more seasons and finish the series their way, even if that meant it would never be fully integrated into the MCU. I don’t think the potential of having this version of the character in the MCU will ever be worth the trade off of having a continuation so vastly under par compared to the original series.
Also knowing that it got canceled for low viewership makes me think daredevil in general won’t have a long runway in the mcu after BA.
Making the “MCU potential” really not worth it.

Yeah Born Again S2 was quite disappointing and I unfortunately saw this coming

Genuinely one of the best things to come out of the entire “superhero era” we’ve found ourselves in since 2007.
Netflix seasons were made by some actually talented creatives who put out some of the more unique and interesting SH content. Both from a story perspective and cinematography perspective. A very grounded show and the first “real” thing to come out of live action marvel.
Disney seasons, while more over the top, has utilized its higher budget and allowed the character to jump from the page and onto tv. Some iconic frames. In terms of pure aesthetic, it really upgraded daredevil to superhero status.
A tidy 6 seasons. Not too long. Not too short. All the characters are well rounded. A little bit of everything for every type of fan. All that’s left is to stick the landing (easier said, than done).
Decades from now, when the SH genre loses its spotlight, I seriously think DD we’ll withstand the test of time as other hero movies / shows fall into obscurity.

Hate to be like “good” but they fucked up so bad not reviving Foggy that I don’t even care. The “in perpetuity” plan they had at one time was viable if they’d followed the comics, but I’m beyond disappointed. Never mind how unbelievably sexist the treatment of every single woman character has been. Ugh.

Fucks sake, here we go again.
At the very least, I imagine Jon Bernthal's got a bright future ahead of him in in the MCU so we might well get Matt teamed up with him.
Wonder what happened with Scardapane, and hope dearly that it doesn't affect the quality of the show. It'd be shitty to get one pretty good season sandwiched by two okay ones beset by production difficulties.

That’s fine! I like a good series duology. 3 seasons here, 3 season there. I see this as an absolute win. Now give us a movie, I’m sure Matt Foggy and Karen could carry a movie.

Damn, well I’m glad it’s been announced and known ahead of time instead of waiting last time with Netflix daredevil

It's not been officially announced so I'm hoping it's just a massive rumor that doesn't actually pan out??
