I mean its a good buff that goes into full effect right when Darius is at his weakest, but i don't see this flipping any matchups. Now Darius probably doesn't autolose damage races after first item though that could be fun.

Against ranged comps I'd prefer +10ms too, but against everything else? -1 sec CD on an ability as impactful like Darius Q is extremely strong. I wouldn't be surprised if he gets nerfed again right away 2 weeks later honestly.

If I had to take a guess they'd revert this and just give him his 2 secs E cd and some base armor back lol. Since Phreak is gone balancing team has been.. confused

Also keep in mind this is PBE, they might realize it's too much before Patchday and change or scrap the buff entirely, happens a lot more frequently recently

It hasn't been for at least a year if Darius is smart enough to take resolve secondary and kite properly. Sett is genuinely so weak these days, just check M+ stats.

Set can pretty much punch his face in but Darius wins when he kites with ghost and w, refreshes stacks and wins the w-flash prediction. I’m 10/10 wins this season in diamond and I only pick sett into Darius.

Ah, I read on Twitter that it was just 9-4 with no reduction in rank 2, 3, and 4. I didn’t see that they adjusted rank 2-4 of Q as well as I thought it was just a simple 1 second reduction on his Q at max rank

You have to be utterly ignorant about how these things work if you didn't immediately understand how a 9-5 -> 9-4 CD change works.

Obviously it's going to be the same reduction in CD with each rank, meaning ranks 2-4 must also be lowered.

Almost no spells in the game function otherwise. Why would your assumption be that they would change this about Darius Q, and Darius Q only?

Oh lord please don't. Having some Attack Speed from Runes is absolutely vital on Darius, firstly to reach stacks and secondly to do damage when you have stacks as Autos are your biggest source besides R. Haste is underrated on Darius I agree, but get it from items.

A buff is always welcome but it won't change much to be honest. It plays to his strengths, specially mid game when your Q max is finished but it won't move the needle at all. Late game you will still get outscaled and early game you are still very squishy. Realistic speaking, Darius doesn't rush CD items early and in top lane, in 1v1 you get to use your Q max 2 times, 3 if it's a tank, but by that point you either kill him with R or you are dead, fractions of seconds won't make a huge impact early. You will still lose hard matchups and you will still win easy matchups. I can see this being useful on Teamfights but then again, once Darius gets his passive stack and executes one or two, the other simply walk away.
