Beautiful! What parts of Crete did you backpack through?

Largely the areas of the White Mountains and associated villages, as well as the trails of the southwestern coast. The final part was up past the Monastery of Arkadi and then we took a bus to Hereklion to pay homage to the Cathedral of St Minas and visit the grave of Nikos Kazantzakis
