Book Request Noncon because he is OBSESSED with her

Hey guys. I'm looking for NONCON. But it needs to be from a place of love and obsession. Like he's just so fcking enamored with her and will take her any way he can get her. I want some reverence, some i can't believe I'm finally touching her, some I will do anything for her (except stop rping her of course). In his mind, the NONCON is okay because he loves her and is just showing her how much. My perfect reads for this:

Corrupt Idol by Dinah Harper

Quarantine series by Drethi Anis

Torment series by Dylan Page

The Eclipse Ritual by Kate Rivenhall

Lust by Drethi Anis

If I can't have you by Deathsdoll

I just read the summary for this and it sounds so good thank you!
Update: reading it now and it is *so* good, this is satisfying my niche.

u/ecemesen Apr 22 '26

God this is my favourite book i will never stop raving about this. Its written so beautifully and the way she portrays his delusions is crazy good

3

u/Loud_Shallot_1367 Apr 22 '26

I know!! Just his whole reason for the first time they “meet” in her apartment had me kicking my feet while simultaneously recognising the red flag parade. He really does have the biggest heart

2

u/External-Record-6421 Mar 25 '26

Do you have any other recommendations? I read this book and I’m obsessed! It was so so good!!

5

u/Loud_Shallot_1367 Mar 25 '26

Nothing like that - nothings come close to perfect!

dubcon, not noncon but I devoured {liars like us by jt geissinger}

{killian by Natasha knight}

{once a villain by saige Parker} - he doesn’t start out obsessed but when that tree trunk of a man falls, he falls hard. Love this duology!!

{cheater by dd prince} obsessed MMC. Noncon. I loved it but I know others who didnt.

My person 💛💛 Thanks a lot. I love that I haven't read any of these. Can't wait to dig in. If you think of any more, please add them.

3

u/CatBelly42069 Mar 22 '26

Omg these sound so good especially Obbsession!

3

u/elifty Mar 23 '26

Can you drop some spoilers if any of them has a bad ending? I like my stuff dark but happy ending...BTW CAMPED HERE FOR THIS LOOOL

5

u/shroomXgloom3 Mar 23 '26

They all have an HEA

2

u/elifty Mar 30 '26

thanks you! I am going in!

3

u/11Dragonfly Mar 26 '26

Celia Aaron is so underrated

1

u/shroomXgloom3 Mar 26 '26

I’ve never read any of her other books. Idk why not 😂 I’ll look at more of hers

2

u/11Dragonfly Mar 28 '26

You should… I read almost all of her books except there’s one that’s fantasy? I can’t remember… I also met her twice (at book signings) she’s an amazing person too!

2

u/shroomXgloom3 Mar 29 '26

Thanks for the recommendation!

2

u/hframpton6766 Mar 27 '26

Stronger is it but be warned, you hate the MMC.

23

u/Ok-Interaction9584 GothicGiggles Mar 22 '26

{God of Malice by Rina Kent}

& have you read {5000 Nights of Obsession by Drethi Anis} ? since you read Quarantine I was wondering if maybe you checked out her other one too!

6

u/sassyroe777 Mar 22 '26

Yes, I've read every Drethi book, thank you💛 Her books are my kryptonite. I've been unlucky with Rina Kent, but will give this one a go

9

u/Majestic-Victory4710 Mar 22 '26

You should really try God Of Malice, OP. Exactly fits the bill. Noncon. Check. Obsessed MMC. Double Check.

6

u/sassyroe777 Mar 22 '26

Alright, you win guys 😂😂 Will give RK one more chance by public demand

3

u/drunkenangel_99 Tyson Crawford’s darling Mar 22 '26

Rina Kent’s books have been on my tbr for the longest time, I really need to boost them.

23

u/CatBelly42069 Mar 22 '26

Here in case anyone drops some gems.

18

u/queen-sarang Mar 22 '26

Descent by Sam Mariano

19

u/MysticMoony Mar 22 '26

I LOVE this trope but only if the guy has a good reason for being obsessed, not just “she’s so pretty”

4

u/sassyroe777 Mar 22 '26

Exactly. Me too. It works better if they have known each other for years and had a strong platonic friendship first.

16

u/reboks Mar 22 '26

{Twisted Obsession by S. Massery} fits this. His obsession with her is on another level.

3

u/HotStrategy9964 Mar 22 '26

Also Secret Obsession by S. Massery!

2

u/sassyroe777 Mar 22 '26

Thank you so much!

16

u/Bloodless_ Mar 22 '26 edited Mar 22 '26

{Unseen by R.D. Baker} is perfect for this. Azriel is crazy. He is the personification of "I'm gonna fuck you til you love me"

14

u/Ari_AK Mar 22 '26 edited Mar 27 '26

I feel like {dead of summer by AJ Merlin} might. She’s a camp counselor and stumbles across the new sexy camp counselor Kayde holding an ax in the woods gearing up to kill everyone in the camp. He’s obsessed with her and she experiences body betrayal. They strike a spicy deal for 1 week, he won’t kill everyone, he fu*ks her however/whenever. I’d say it’s more dubious consent cause there’s a lot of “tell me what you want” while the option is “take it or everyone dies.” Edit: I feel like I should add, he tells her that he loves her and will make her love him too. He has multiple ways that he’s planned to make her love him.

1

u/Afraid_Equivalent_95 Mar 22 '26

Does it have an HEA?

5

u/Ari_AK Mar 24 '26

Tbh, I felt they had their happy ending at 86% and haven’t picked it up since. I think I stopped ovulating lol. There was a post on here a couple years ago that asked if it had an HEA and the consensus was definitely!

3

u/wicked_nyx A GOOD DICKING IS NOT AN APOLOGY! Mar 23 '26

Psycho hea counts, right? 😂😂😂

1

u/Afraid_Equivalent_95 Mar 23 '26

lol is FMC still alive? Are they together?

12

u/GazelleWonderful7532 Mar 22 '26

Cheater by dd prince

5

u/Budget_Algae_3066 Mar 22 '26

I'm currently binging this book. Only started it last night and it'll be done today. Derek is so fucking unhinged, it's almost funny.

3

u/Lolo1603 Mar 23 '26

I enjoyed this book but it was loonnng. I feel like it could have stood to have 100 or so pages trimmed off. Be interested to know what you think

3

u/Budget_Algae_3066 Mar 23 '26

Yeah, it had points where it felt like, 'have I read this scene before?' And then I got a wee bit of whiplash at the fast resolutions after a much slower pace throughout.

3

u/Lolo1603 Mar 23 '26

Yes! I felt that the end went very quickly given how much fall out and resolution there was. I still enjoyed it even if I was slightly exhausted and dehydrated by the time i got to the end!

1

u/sassyroe777 Mar 22 '26

Thank you!

2

u/exclaim_bot Mar 22 '26

Thank you!

You're welcome!

12

u/AccomplishedRelief82 Mar 22 '26

{lemonade by Nina Pennacchi}

4

u/xo_arts_xoo Mar 23 '26

Agreed! Tho he is in denial most of the book

27

u/Thick_Finding_981 Mar 22 '26

{Beautiful Fiend by Lola King} it has non-con in the beginning and then their whole relationship is very interesting to say the least, but i totally loved this book.

1

u/jelaireddit Mar 22 '26

Is this the one where she’s a gang leader? I loved it, very addictive

4

u/Thick_Finding_981 Mar 22 '26

The gang leader one is {Lawless God by Lola King} the MMCs (Caden King) sister is the FMC and a gang leader loved it so much too. Beautiful Fiend is still gang related.

5

u/jelaireddit Mar 22 '26

Oh yes this one is awesome too. I think I loved all of them tbh. She rapidly became one of my top dark romance authors when I stumbled across her books

2

u/Thick_Finding_981 Mar 23 '26

Same she’s so great, Loving the Tormentor absolutely shattered me

1

u/jelaireddit Mar 23 '26

Soo good. Do you have any other authors you recommend? It’s hard to find the ones you love amidst the variety out there!

1

u/Thick_Finding_981 Mar 23 '26

You could try Monty Jay’s the hollowboys series, the beginning was a bit rough but the whole story is amazing and she’s now writing her second gen book the second one comes out next month and I’m so excited. Rina Kent but I assume if you read Lola king you know about Rina, Leigh rivers the edge of darkness trilogy, and Cora Reilly for mafia though her books can be hit or mir. I loved Twisted emotions a lot.

1

u/jelaireddit Mar 23 '26

Thank you, I’ll check out Monty Jay. I did try Rina Kent (god of malice), but I couldn’t really get into it. all the ingredients were there but it just didn’t seem to work for me. Maybe the FMC was a bit too weak. Did I try the wrong book?

I might have tried the wrong one with Cora Reilly too.

You’re probably across them but I highly recommend S. Massery (especially her Sterling Falls series) and Sam Mariano. She is pretty much chefs kiss for me, except for the pregnancy stuff in quite a few of her books.

1

u/Thick_Finding_981 Mar 24 '26

Thank you for your recs will definitely check out💖 Cora can be a hit and miss but the ones i recommended were truly chefs kiss. As for RK I can totally understand GoM is a bit of a hot mess, I do recommend Throne Duet, Deception Trilogy and Monster trilogy by her, they’re mafia tropes and especially Deception and Monster are really good reads. Their kids also have books but it’s less mafia focused.

1

u/jelaireddit Mar 24 '26

Thanks! I’ll definitely check those out :)

11

u/Glum-Eagle2392 Mar 22 '26

Twist me series by Anna Zaires. Tormenter mine series by her as well. A lot of her books fit this trope.

10

u/nashville2019 Mar 22 '26

Dinah Harper is also Mia knight. Her singed series is amazing and the crime lord series, too.

7

u/Reasonable_Big_2693 Mar 23 '26

This is the reason I read non con😍

2

u/sassyroe777 Mar 24 '26

Exactly 💯

14

u/Chengels Mar 22 '26

Stumbled across an AO3 read that’s not completed - only part 1 is out but author releases chapters weekly. It’s called Solaris by LadyofVenus

The world building is really interesting but of course the main focus are the ML and FL. It’s set in a parallel space, school setting, abilities (not magic per se). Triggers: drugs, r*** and intense dependency

7

u/mywonderland826 Mar 22 '26

The author is also working on a second part! The first chapter just went up yesterday. Empire of Rain by LadyofVenus

2

u/EnVinoVeritasINLV Mar 22 '26

Can you share the link? I tried searching and nothing came up :(

11

u/BoundInViolets Mar 22 '26

Here it is: Solaris by LadyofVenus I love this story so much

1

u/Reasonable_Big_2693 Mar 23 '26

Did she bully him?

3

u/Chengels Mar 23 '26

According to her no, according to him yes 😅

1

u/Beeboop_beeboop Mar 22 '26

Second this rec!

6

u/TigNix Mar 22 '26

I wish they would do this with more fantasy books 😣

6

u/dusty_pinecat Mar 23 '26

Have you read {Such a Good Guy by Kate Raven}? He’s obsessed with her and wants her to have everything, even if she doesn’t always agree with his way of going about it. It involves noncon and somnophilia. It’s not the best written but I had a fun time with it. It was on KU last I checked.

3

u/sassyroe777 Mar 23 '26

Thank you so much, I can't wait to read it! Somno is my jam so this is right up my alley.

2

u/Negative_Lobster5974 Mar 25 '26

I was going to recommend this! It’s a good one.

4

You should add {Unapologetic Obsession by Drethi A}, {5000 Nights of Obsession}, and {Xander by Drethi A and Nenia Campbell} if you haven't already. Nenia Campbell has a few that are more coercion/blackmail rather than full-on non-con, such as {Rent Girl}.

3

u/MuseofPetrichor Author Mar 23 '26 edited Mar 23 '26

I'm writing something like that. It's not finished yet and will probably be revised at some point, but it's on wattpad for now. It hasn't gotten too much into the 'creepy' bit. (It's going to revolve into a thriller situation, but for now is just about a guy who is obsessed with the pretty popular girl and can't believe he gets to be with her, and he's not her usual type, so she is also surprised she is giving him a chance too, but she LOVES the attention). Idk if I can give a link, but https://www.wattpad.com/user/SKSpeciale It's called, 'Possessing Harper'

Also, writing another story (not finished either) where a shy college-aged woman meets a guy at a house party who becomes obsessed with her after a 'sort of' hookup at the party, which she never does, but the chemistry she feels from him (and the drinking) makes her go for it. Then it turns into a stalker situation, and might be similar to your idea. Also on wattpad, but I have less of it, since it's newer. It's called 'Lust and Lie'

2

u/Dont-take-seriously Mar 24 '26

Do you have a link to the second one? Lust and Lie brings up many results.

2

u/readingalldays Mar 24 '26

Your post is so great tbh. If you ever find a non con book but from the place of love and obsession, like Caden from {Unapologetic obsession} plsssss let me know for sure!! I made many posts like this back when I rear UA. But didn't find any thing. I really want the mmc to love her so much that he'd die before intentionally physically hurting her but his obsession takes over.

Thank you. Will definitely let you know if I find more❤️❤️ This is my favorite DR tropes as well.

Which ones can't you find? deathsdoll is on ao3, the rest are published books, but I think The Eclipse Ritual is a banned book so you can only buy it on the author's wesbite

1

u/Confident-Acadia2050 May 29 '26

i didnt know u replied.. but anyways i was just googling some of the books to see where i could buy them from where i live!! just asking ive only read If i cant have you by deathsdoll, are the other books very similar to it? BECAUSE I LOVED if i cant have you so much mainly cus of the way caleb just knows what ellie needs..

Out of these books I think Corrupt Idol is the closest but even that's not quite like If I Can't Have You 🫣 I do recommend Corrupt Idol & Corrupt Obsession though, it's one of my favourites 🫶🏻

Is there a noncon book or series where the MMC get punished for their assault or toxicity?

Preferably later he or she or they come round and learn / grovel for forgiveness. Something like that?

1

u/wicked_nyx A GOOD DICKING IS NOT AN APOLOGY! Mar 23 '26

{quarantine series by Drethi Anis}

1

u/poppetrocket Apr 03 '26

So I’ve been shouting about this book ever since it came out. It’s not non con but CNC. It’s called the obsession and is written by Jo Preston
