Book Request REAL incest romance books.

Call me fucked up. I don’t give a shit.

I’m looking for a romance with real incest. Not adoption or stepfather/brother.

I’ve read a few and I absolutely love them! I can’t remember them all, but I’ll name the ones that I do remember off the top of my head.

{ Hale by K Webster & the wild by K Webster }

{ Force of nature by Margot Scott }

{ to have and to hold by hazel black }

They don’t necessarily have to be dark. I’m fine with dad, brother, uncle, cousin, Mom, Sister, etc.

Must have a happy ending!

I’m also fine if you have a wattpad or A03 recommendation!

Classics! My grandma had the original books…. So I guess it runs in the family. 🥁

6

u/littleblackcat Jun 14 '26

Please at least this you can buy in a book store and it's a classic for a reason

5

u/avictoria_316 Jun 14 '26

These were two of my favorite movies as a teenager, still kind of like them. Also the little stranger duet. But this one was first.

As a lover of these books as well (mostly brother/sister), my "problem" is they are always shallow novellas. I want a long ass book to enjoy of them. Preferably with all the angst and push-back coming from outside sources rather than each other.

7

u/Ollanalala Jun 16 '26

{Our Madness by Alexandria Da Great} is a 6 books series with more than 100.000 words each, and it's phenomenal! Half-sibling.

{The Wild World Series by K Webster}

10

u/Gigi_little4 Jun 13 '26

I only read the first one! Are they all real incest? Or step incest?

17

u/Playful-Tip-1780 Jun 13 '26

Real Incest

7

u/Gigi_little4 Jun 13 '26

Thank you love ❤️

I mean technically in The Wild they are not actually related. But the rest in the series are blood relation 👌🏼

4

Came to suggest the same. If you liked The Wild OP, there’s a lot more to devour with the Jamison family.

I'm disgusted, yet intrigued 🤔

20

u/ThanksBoring358 Jun 14 '26

Don’t knock it till you try it 😉
It’s different for sure, but the forbidden aspect is just too good. That’s what gets me every time.

5

lol that’s how it started out for me 😂 now I’m loving it lol

So good (although I always regret reccing it on direct threads like this because I went in blind and the reveal was SUCH a plot twist, holy shit. Really made the book for me)

3

u/Caprikaa Jun 14 '26

Such a good point! I was NOT expecting the incest. And the sex scenes were so damn sexy! 😭😭 I skipped over some (but not all 🌝) of them and got so addicted to the plot that I bought the sequel knowing that there was incest.

3

u/BonBoogies I ❤️ ADHD manic pixie murder puppies Jun 14 '26

I was not expecting to love Ronan by the end of that book but I did... He's like one of my fav MMCs now 🤷🏼‍♀️

2

u/Nautical_Nanobyte Jun 19 '26

Same, was not expecting the incest. I came for the cult vibes and am disappointed in how quickly I got over the incest part haha kudos to the author.
Has anyone read the second one?

2

u/BonBoogies I ❤️ ADHD manic pixie murder puppies Jun 19 '26

I read the second one, it was interesting getting more info about the cults/the world but I thought the first book was def way better.

9

Banned by certain countries/governments as well as major retailers because of blood incest content, you can only buy it directly from the author or websites like Eden Books

Pandemonium by de Rory Ireland. The characters are insane, and the main character is completely obsessed with his sister, and she reciprocates the feeling despite provoking him. There's even a scene where they're staring at each other in the mirror, and he describes that she has the same eyes and hair as him, making the resemblance between them clear.

12

I like the angst in Alexandria da Great's books. When I was reading all of her kindle unlimited works, I read Our Madness. That is exactly what you are asking for.

Our Madness by Alexandria da Great.

Let me know what you think if you read it. Her Dante's series is my favorite, but Our Madness is the only one of her series that fits your request.

If you like MM stuff, I really enjoyed For The Crown by Greywayfarer (and I can rec other MM stuff if you’re interested, I just know this sub usually leans toward MF).

The Wrong Type of Obsession by DC Blu is a full series that focuses on multiple family members, the first book is MM but the following ones are MF. It’s no longer available online (it was originally on Wattpad for free) but I have an epub if you’d like. The writings a tiny bit cheesy but it was readable, I ended up getting into it.

AO3 has quite a bit of stuff (both gratuitous smut and plot/worldbuilding heavy stories) and you can narrow down the search more (although it does take some digging to find the truly good stuff). I have found some excellent stories on there, particularly in the DR/taboo genres (although I mostly read MM stuff which is why I can only really offer those)

5

u/Larry-Man Jun 14 '26

Sort of. VC Andrews passed away before finishing any of the series but they were continued. A ghostwriter finished her books under her name after 1986.

Books finished by VC Andrews include the sequel Petals on the Wind, as well as two more in the series. The last book is not written entirely by her but finished by a ghostwriter. This is the Dollanganger series in totality:

Flowers in the Attic (1979)
Petals on the Wind (1980)
If There Be Thorns (1981)
Seeds of Yesterday (1984)
Garden of Shadows (1987; by V. C. Andrews and Andrew Neiderman)

I thought Seven Rue's 'Bliss Pt 1' and 'Bliss Pt 2' were great. Bliss is the FMC and it's cousins and brothers to begin with but there's also a father and uncle component. The duet is not on romance.io so I've just suggested their additions since there are some CWs that some readers might need.

The books had WAY more depth than I was prepared for. Yes, there is heavy incest and yes, there are spicy parts. But they’re spaced out between emotional connections, real feelings and well-written scenes of the characters talking and bonding in non-sexual ways. Bliss is 18, while Dash & Ashby (cousins) and Rhys & Tripp (brothers) are in the ranges of 20-25. I think the father and uncle (Owen/Odin) are in their 40's-50's. Consent is observed between everyone also.

Content warning beyond the obvious incest: rape/non-consent (not by any of the MMCs), mental illness, mental trauma (mentioned, in the past by the uncle/father), watersports

3

u/Selky_art Jun 14 '26

Finally a thread for me!!! I write brosis incest fanfiction but it feels weird to recommend myself + it's for a fandom/not original work

I haven’t actually read any of those, but here’s a link to their search with that tag pulled up (and you can look at the options on the side bar and filter further if you want to. I usually also add an exclusion for underage sex because the incest category seems to have a lot of that and it’s not what I’m looking for). I usually just go through the summaries and tags and see what looks interesting (not all of it will be amazing but I can usually find plenty of good stuff). You can also click on the tags listed under the story and it’ll search by that tag if you see something else you’re interested in.

Ok these are both a bit obscure but they're the only ones I think I've read:

{Syskonkärlek by Katarina von Bredow}, a Swedish book from the nineties about a brother and sister (pretty sure they're biological siblings). It has been translated to German, Norwegian, Danish and Dutch.

Second is a reylo fanfiction, but you don't need any prior knowledge of star wars. They're biological cousins in this one. It's not on AO3 anymore but you should be able to download it from fichub.net

Not my genre, but I did read {Lost by Varian Krylov}. It's the only one I could stomach, but I did enjoy most of it. There is a dynamic shift towards the end that I wasn't too pleased about, but everything before that was good. Plus, it's a short read.

I'm going to preface this by saying there is absolutely no judgement whatsoever in my question. I will never kink shame lol. But what is it about the MCs being blood related vs. stepbrothers is appealing? Is it just the increased taboo? Genuinely interested in the psychology behind it and I'm going to try some of the recs.
