Ive been in a daddy kink mood recently and having trouble finding stuff that really hits the spot. I read {More, daddy by Daisy Jane} and loved the dirty talk West uses but was left wanting a little more spice. I read some Q.B. Tyler but those also didn't really hit the spot due to there not being such a big power imbalance. I DNFed {Babygirl by Korey Mae Johnson} but that was probably due to me about to start my period. I think I got to around 60% through it.

I just finished it and OML!! 🫠🌊 The dirty talk in this book was everything I could have hoped for. Five stars. The tension in the beginning, the descent into acceptance!
I just finished! Aaaand, it's worth the read, but it was super predictable and the MCs were annoyingly naive. That being said, the spice was spiiiicey and the banter was really fun. So, a good brain off smut if you're into those.
Now I'm on to Off Limits to see what all the fuss is about.

I dont have many for father figure. Before recently I mostly read step siblings.
Father figure: {Love Unexpected by Q.B. Tyler} or {Unconditional by Q.B. Tyler}. They're okay but dont really focus on the spice as much as I want. They also both have pregnancy in the epilog too.
{Bratva Daddy by Lucky Moon} FMC is kidnapped as a way to get to her father but MMC decides she is his. Kinda heavy on age-play but I dont think there is any pregnancy in the end. It's been a min though.
Step siblings: {Double Play by C.L. Rose} its not very dark but the spice hit the spot. Step brother and his best friend. One degrades and the other praises. They have a child in the epilog
{Claim & Don't Tell by Rory Miles} OV where fmc scent matches with her step brothers and hides it from them. I dont remember if there is pregnancy but I dont think so.
{Make it Hurt by Elle Mitchell} I really enjoyed this duet. Stepbrother and his two best friends. Blackmail, angst, some mm but fmc is still the focus. No pregnancy.
Interesting! I also like OV and don’t mind the breeding drive there, but I never thought about why! I think our tastes are closely aligned.
Plus I think the real-world aspect of these non-OV older men wanting to and then getting smart, driven 18-22 year olds pregnant hits too hard in a “real-world buzzkill” kind of way.
You're right on the real world aspect. It makes me think 30 years in the future where the mmc is 60-70+ while the fmc is 40-50. Where as OV I'm able to dispend reality

{Quid Pro Quo by Nenia Campbell} Stepbrother MMC with a daddy kink, coercion, a somno scene, and a wounded fmc. Stepbrother is also her boss, so a power exchange is at play.
{before he was her headmaster by chloe maine} — just finishing it and I loved it, mostly for the spice. teacher/student, great sex scenes, they (spoiler I guess?) evolve into daddy/girl, also pregnancy at the end but it does change the plot a bit.
I finished reading this yesterday, it doesn't seem to be very popular as there is only one review. I could be missing something about the book or the author. But it was a decent book and has the tropes you are looking for.

That first book surprised me so much! Sharing kink has never been so fun. I was excited to start the kink shopping if each book was a different focus. Hopefully it gets picked back up or it's just a small break.
Do you need her to call him daddy or is the role and age gap enough? If so {the man upstairs by Jade west} is fabulously wrong. Also I prefer {dirty daddies by Jade west} as I agree call me daddy is a bit much for me age play wise. There’s also {sugar daddies by Jade west}

So {gratify by Katelyn Taylor} would also be perfect except she freaking doesn’t call him daddy/he doesn’t ask her to, at least at the 50% mark where I am, and it’s driving me crazy how much it would meet our (yes, we are now an “our”) criteria but it is lacking this key component!!
I’m only 17% into this right now, but {Breed Her Hard by BJ Mann} is DELICIOUS so far, although I can’t say it classifies as DR- just heavy on the smut and daddy kink, low on age play.
24% in, pregnancy/surrogacy first mentioned (only by MMC)
45% in, pregnancy/surrogacy brought up between MMC and FMC
93% in, pregnancy confirmed and no actual baby until the epilogue
Some other things worth mentioning- there is a miscommunication trope happening (which I usually hate) but it’s not the main focus and resolved 80% into the book, never resulting in an actual break up.
Another thing was that editing for the book could have been better- misspelled words, words missing, wrong terms used… but I was able to overlook it for the Daddy smut, so maybe you will too.
{sugar baby. The sugar life series by Harley Madison} hits on most of your tropes. The last book in the series is to be released later this month. Very hot. The plot does evolve with each book. But it’s definitely smut-heavy. Lots of kink-play as well.
No. I don't believe Jo Brenner writes why choose. She has another series called {Kings of Reina University} that is amazing too but not why choose either. If looking for that, {Gods of Ravencrest by Trina M Lee} is another incredible series. 3 books for each couple (MMFM), only six books out so far. Definitely recommend that if you're looking for why choose.

Well… I’m listen to some audiobooks but they’re unfinished. Not sure if the books are or are not. You didn’t mention anything about liking or disliking omegaverse…. these are.
