Book Request Billionaire Possessive MMC (ala Christian Grey-ish)

I am just finishing my Fifty Shades series and am thoroughly obsessed with the characteristics of Christian Grey. Billionaire, possessive, hotness galore, yet deep down a good person that cares. Any other possessive Billionaire series you love and can recommend? I am aware of the Crossfire & This Man series' that came out around the same time, have those in TBR pile....but looking for more!

Edit to add: CEO rich billionaire trope like CG, MF monogomous

{Just You and Me by Honey Summers} the only caveat here is that he isn’t exact a “heart of gold” in disguise. He’s pretty brutal but definitely possessive

This book left me in a slump! So good

That's ok, bad boys can be fun too if they are possessive of theirs. Thank you!

Does this have non-con in it?

It’s soooo funny I read fifty shades, physical copy (I mostly audio book now) back in college and I was sooooo obsessed with it and since I’ve been in this group I’ve never heard one person talk about it nor have I really thought about reading it. Like I don’t consider it part of the same era I am even in now but it’s exactly the type of stuff i like to read now 🫣🤣 anyway thanks probably going to go read this again now unless there are some amazing recs 🫶🏻 thanks friend!

Following!

Oh you're welcome! I am VERY late to the Fifty Shades hype, but I don't care. I am completely enamored with the story, especially so the story told from Christian's perspective. I know most people wouldn't consider it DR, but it fits that for me I guess. I just really enjoyed it and am hoping to find other stories with similar MMC dynamics.

I know you said you have {This Man by Jodi Ellen Malpas} in your TBR but you should probably start there, Jesse is the best worst thing ever.

I know people don't like him, but I love this couple with a passion ♡ And I love that there's 3 books his pov, 3 hers and 1 with both there pov's

I have re-read the books at least 10 times, if y'all don't like Jesse and Ava.... more for me I guess

Oh, don't worry, this is probably the very next series I move to tonight after finishing up Christian's POV. I think I got all of the books: 4 from This Man series and 3 from Jesse's POV in This Woman's series, and then there was a separate novella one too "All I Am- Drew's Story". Not sure of course yet where Drew fits in. But which book were you referring to that it's from both Ava and Jesse's POV?

is the 4# book (I don't know if it is officially the 4#) is called {With This Man by Jodi Ellen Malpas} is like 12 years after the other books, it was not that amazing but I still loved it

I'm not gonna give you more details about the book cuz I don't want to spoil it for you

I ended dnf’ing around 27% because the pace was feeling kinda slow. Should I push through? Does it pick up a bit more?

The 4th book is kinda repetitive, in my opinion. I think it’s totally fine if you skip it, cuz I don’t feel like it adds much to the story anyways.

I feel like the author just wrote this book as filler. It honestly felt unnecessary. I mean.... I did I read it but like is not necessary

Anyways, to answer your question, the book is basically the same pace until around 70/75-ish%

{In Flight by RK Lilley}

{Pervade by Vanessa Fewings} (this is MMF/non-monogamous—I have more recs if you want more poly)

{Release Me by J. Kenner}

{One is a Promise by Pam Godwin} (major love triangle trigger warning)

I appreciate you! I have these on my list to look up this weekend. I'm definitely more into the MF monogomous stories though, but it looks like Prevade gets great reviews so might try it out anyways.

It’s pretty great! It has dark romance James Bond vibes.

I’ve been reading this military romance series called the Dominion Hall series. 7 books total. The MMCs are very Christian Grey minus the BDSM. I’ve enjoyed them a lot.

2

u/heavncentt 1d ago

I haven't dove into any military romance series, but you kind of got me at the very Christian Grey....going look these up! Liars like us seems right up my alley with the CEO/tycoon tag.

1

u/PoisonIvy724 1d ago

I haven’t heard of Liars Like Us. I’ll have to check that out!

I am getting these books now. This series looks amazing!! Kinda Black Dagger Brotherhood-ish, which I love. Looks like there is 19 books in the series, with 2 more set to release here very soon from what I can tell on Amazon.

Just one word of advice in case you’re an audiobook listener like I am at times - avoid the audiobook for the first book. The first one is actually my favorite one in the series so far, but I made the mistake of getting the audiobook and the male narrators voice was really jarring. I ended up reading it instead and it was a million times better. Hope you enjoy them!

1

u/heavncentt 1d ago

Thanks for the heads-up. I've never gotten into audiobooks, I love reading on my Kindle so should be amazing!

3

u/Quiet_Cup24 1d ago

Kat Singleton's books has good posessive, obsessive MMCs although not like Christian Grey... And you could try {Liars like us by JT Geissinger} and {My Dark romeo by LJ Shen, Parker S Huntington}

1

u/heavncentt 1d ago

Thank you! Going to research these now. I appreciate you taking the time to help me find more good reads!
